Great service and amazingly fresh fish! Get the smoked tuna!
We were in Charleston last year and became addicted to Chuck's smoked salmon jalapeno sticks and smoked albacore. I ordered a shipment for the dads for Father's Day and it arrived perfectly packed and cold to my door in Oklahoma. Thanks Chuck!
I get fresh tuna. I usually can the fish. I love belly fat from the tuna.
Fantastic friendly amazing people. I had booked a hotel down the street with a full kitchen and on my last day decided I would cook myself up a feast. The food is fantastic, so fresh!! The people working there are all so kind and loving, I felt like I was family the second I walked in❤️
Salmon sticks are amazing, clam chowder and shrimp cocktail are good too. Enjoyed these items while crabbing, then stopped on the way out for more sticks.Staff is friendly and helpful. They gave us the phone number for the local people that cleaned crabs.
The clam chowder has lots of clams 😋 The smoked peppery oysters are fabulous and delicious! The staff are very helpful & friendly just terrific people! Stop & grab some great seafood & clam chowder 🤓
I came to try the octopus and chowder but they were out (must be good!). I got the salmon jerky sticks and smoked tuna because they looked so good.
first, I never order or eat fish because it doesn't appeal to me, but this did.
Second, let me tell you right now, it was straight up delicious and tasted like "yes please" and I ate it all. Not even upset that they were out of what I wanted to try because I have an excuse to come back and I tried something new I really liked. #winning
This was my second time in chuck's the first I got a large cut of halibut it was amazing. This time only some cod but it was fresh. The workers were in a mood and seemed to be a bit off.
I love the fish didn't like the aditude that came with it. We all have bad days, I expect the ocean to be salty not the workers.
They ran out of Octopus and Chowder (obviously because it is so good. But me and my lovely wife got some cool seasoning, teriyaki smoked tuned, Smoked Salmon and these cool smoked meat sticks: Salmon, Salmon with jalapeño and Oyster flavors. I recommend if your in Coos Bay.
The smoked salmon collar is our favorite of all their smoked fish selections. The flavor is absolutely addictive and the meat is wonderfully moist and tender.
Also tried their smoked salmon fillet, it was quite good also.
The smoked albacore tuna has a good flavor too, but the meat is much drier compared to the salmon.
