I have finally gotten around to trying this place after seeing my friend posting about it. I tried the Greek Salad with chicken and the Reuben sandwich. If there is a place with a Reuben, I will judge them on it. I was only very mildly disappointed because the crust of the panini was a smidge too burnt for my liking but the interior was amazing! They didn't do a French dressing but their own mix and I LOVED it. They have passed the Reuben test for me and I would gladly eat it again. I had them take the kalamata olives off the salad because I love Greek food but I don't like the taste of them. They substituted the dressing for a Caesar one and I couldn't tell the difference. It was so delicious even without the olives! For dessert, I had to get the rum raisin bread pudding and it does NOT disappoint! It is very flavorful and has just the right hint of rum and the raisins complemented everything else. The bread was soft and just melted in my mouth. If you haven't checked this place out, you are definitely missing out!

Love coming here. Has a very hometown type of vibe with fresh and delicious soup, salad, sandwich, and pasta options. I ordered the reuben, cranberry nut salad, and the Lemon Taragon bowtie pasta (which is incredible). I am definitely a repeat/loyal customer. I'd love to see the prices come down a bit but overall decent value for the food. Thank you!

The food is so so good!! But I’m here to leave a review about the service! I ordered from here a couple weeks ago for a friend and I for the first time. I walked in, ordered and was directed to a man to pay for my to go order. I soon realized I had left my card at home and only had enough cash to cover one of the meals I ordered. I let the man know to cancel the second order because I only had enough cash to cover the one. Without hesitation he said “don’t worry about it, I’ve got you covered!!” And gave me both meals anyway! It seriously made my whole day and brought tears to my eyes lol. Extremely kind staff!!!!

I have been going to this place for awhile now, and it has surpassed any other restaurant in the area for me. It’s now comfort & easy go to restaurant of mine knowing anything I order will be delicious. The service is fast & friendly. The food is fantastic. The desserts really elevate the meals for me as I am always provided with nice selection (not just chocolate either). I started coming on a whim because I live right around the corner & saw it had great reviews. Everything is super delicious, and while I was sick this week with COVID 19 for the first time - having some yummy light meals from them made my week less miserable than it had to be. Thanks Plates & Palates for being so incredibly good to your customers, and providing such delicious food. I’ll be back again & again!

Was looking for a light lunch and had driven by many times. When you go in you order right there and take a seat. You are not given an order number or anything for your table. They do something to "know" who you are. They bring your drink and order out shortly. I arrived a little after 1 pm and the restaurant was full. This meant that the sound level was extraordinary high. I am not sure how other hear and did notice an older couple who did not converse during the meal. I have hearing issues and am not sure i would have been able to hear a companion. The restaurant emptied a bit by 2 making it should level more tolerable. The wait staff leave you alone but check on you more frequently as you near ending your meal. They offered a to-go drink. No bill brought to the table and they had the right order at the check out. There is a 3.5% charge if you use a credit card. I would have liked to have seen that sign at the order counter. The food was great. I had 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich. I had a turkey and cranberry panini. You can see the thicker turkey in the photo. Cranberry sauce was homemade with a slight touch of clove and other spice. So mild you would not initially notice. The cheese was unexpected. The pear and pecan salad was lite and had a crumbled blue cheese and bacon. Flavors blended well. The food was quite good and service was excellent. I would go again but will choose a more off peak time so it might not be so loud.
