This place was great, I used to live in the valley, and I'm pretty picky about my burritos. I really enjoyed the chicken fajita here. I came in at rush hour and ordered something on the menu but with additions and despite a language barrier they took my order right away and turned it around super fast and it came out perfect. The salsa roja was good and they gave me enough without me having to ask multiple times.
Great food, the fajitas in my torta were actually tender and had great flavor, not dried out tire meat like some other places.. the flautas my daughter had were nice and crispy, rice and beans were also pretty good. I didn’t get a picture of the nachos because they were eaten before I could get a chance, they were excellent. The ceviche had such a rich flavor, if you’re a fan of great ceviche I would definitely recommend. Also great service by the staff, very fast, courteous and helpful when asking about the menu
Wonderful little Mexican restaurant, great service and excellent food. The flautas are crisp and perfect, and perfectly sized portions. This place is quaint and small and often gets packed during lunch. There’s a reason this place has regulars!
I was craving a shrimp cocktail to enjoy on a Sunday night and accidentally ordered from this restaurant instead of my intended one.
I was hesitant to call them and cancel but figured I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. To my surprise, their shrimp cocktail was amazing. The taste was just right and they put plenty of shrimp in it. I’ve added this place to my favorites.
Lovely Tex Mex place. Tried Horchata drink for the first time and loved it. Budget friendly price, good location, have some parking spots outside.

OMG, the tortillas made here are AMAZING... could just eat them and salsa as a meal ...lol. I had the shrimp stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon!!! Amazing as well, so good and for $10 bucks cannot be beat! Sevice was excellent as well. Not the newest looking place but please don't change a thing! Gracias, gracias, gracias !!!

a hidden gem in Austin, TX. This small, family-owned restaurant serves up authentic Mexican cuisine with a friendly smile. The food at Taqueria Arandas is delicious. You won't be disappointed with the food at Taqueria Arandas.
The staff is attentive and helpful, and they make sure that you have everything you need. Overall, Taqueria Arandas is a great place to get a delicious Mexican meal. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal.
