Pretty cool coffee shop, a little slow on the service and register but good coffee and pastries. I also had some peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread that was delicious.

The coffee was delicious and the decor and seating inside was quite comfortable - just the perfect amount of hip. Ultra friendly staff and patrons were nice as well. I think it's a good sign when you notice that all the patrons of a location are also friendly! Good spot for some quick empanadas with your morning coffee!

Great coffee... food that is freshly made, healthy, and yummy. Owner takes such personal care and pride in his products. Like eating in his house. Not super fast.. because people love this place and care is taken with each customer. Try the scones... or I can't believe I am saying this the vegan empanada so yummy.

I have been a regular at Fair Bean for about a year, and they consistently make delicious coffee and coffee drinks. They also sell coffee and espresso beans as well as empanadas, sandwiches and other pastries. I haven't tried much of the food, but I have tried the empanadas- which are good, but not great. The owner is almost always there, and everyone who works there is extremely friendly. Also, if you ever want to have a coffee meeting, unlike most central Austin coffee shops, there is always an available table.

This place is fantastic. They have an excellent selection of perfectly roasted single origin coffees, great baked goods, and it's a nice place to sit and work for a while with wifi and plenty of power outlets. The coffee is really the reason to go though - it is absolutely top notch, and subtle flavors come out in each of the beans they have (there are something like 7 or 8 to choose from each day). BUT, it's still very reasonably priced - a french press for two is $3.75. I can't say enough good things about Fair Bean - check it out.

I met here for an interview as a second choice since the place we wanted to go to had closed. I am a big fan of cold-brewed coffee, so I ordered the large. I was not disappointed. It was served in a liter-sized frozen fest stein (glass) and was strong and delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and polite and the service was fast. For that volume of cold-brewed coffee, the price was extremely reasonable. I have been back twice, and every time it has been the same wonderful experience. I would frequent the place if I lived in South Park.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Austin. The guy who owns the place is super nice, there's plenty of sunlight and plugs to power your laptop, and the music isn't loud and annoying. Plus, they have empanadas! What more could you ask for.

I will say this place is one of the best!!.... The staff is super informative, very friendly, and welcoming! The coffee is top notch and the hot chocolate is very rich and delicious, exactly what you want on a cold day!... My wife had a toffee nut americano and she loved it! I had their empanada and it had a authentic taste to it which was awesome!... They have a good selection of beans from different countries (Including El Salvador, that's where I'm from)...It seems like the owner or manager was there and he was working the whole time not just sitting around which says allot about his passion for coffee! Came here with my wife because we're doing a weekly date to different coffee shops in ATX... We will definitely come here again!!.... Thanks Fair Bean!

A quality coffee shop, one of the best I've been to ever. Great coffee, super fresh beans, some unique small plate snacks. Nice atmosphere. Whenever I'm in the area, it's my first stop!

Best beans in town, ask for their cold brew blend. If you need advice on what to pick, the owner is super helpful and knowledgeable. Love how fresh everything is. Also, try the empanadas - chicken pot pie and picadillo are my favorites.
