Dicono di noi: For a tiny pizzeria tucked away in a small town, this place sure punches well above its weight! It is an absolute MUST VISIT if you are anywhere in the vicinity! It's a 20-minute drive north of Ravenna, but totally worth the effort! I've been to Italy four times previously, travelled from Rome through the centre up and into the North, and not one place I visited in weeks of travelling comes close to this place! Run by national champion and pizza acrobatics master Lorenco Devolli, this pizzeria has absolutely delicious pizzas and other related dishes that are delicious! Making the experience even better, Lorenco is possibly the greatest host on the planet. From the moment you walk in, his glowing, energetic and generous personality beam across at you as he takes your orders. We had no idea what awaited us when we sat down, but we were treated like kings and queens - fed incredible food, treated to incredibly exuberant and skilful pizza spinning and other acrobatic feats, we chatted for hours with the affable Lorenco, and had a whale of a time! Even after the meal, the fiesta continued, with our group of 10 or so joining with Lorenco and his team in an impromptu dancing session - Lorenco showing off his impressive skills and leading us all in a hilarious impromptu dance class/club night! For an unforgettable night, filled with cheer, the best pizza on the planet, friendly Italians, dancing, singing and all around joy, I cannot praise Cuore Di Pizza highly enough! Thank you to Lorenco and his team for a wonderful time - long may they continue to grow!
