Exquisite pub fare with the touch of a gourmet chef flair. Rich shepherd’s pie with freshly braised lamb and the most amazing lemon curd with a toasted meringue that was reminiscent of a toasted marshmallow.... the service was outstanding and the atmosphere warm and inviting... I loved it.

Father Paddy's quickly became a "go to" place! Fantastic staff, great live music, and I promise the pretzel bites with cheese sauce are a must! And if you make their Sunday brunch, the food is amazing and the bartenders make a stellar bloody mary.

One of the largest Irish Pub I have visited in Sacramento metropolitan area. The historic Yolo County Savings Bank building on Main Street Woodland, California is converted to this lovely Irish Pub. Great beer collection and friendly staff. Guinness was perfectly poured and at the correct temperature. Loved the high ceiling and the ambience. The Whiskey Bar in the Bank Vault is a gem! (Needs a separate review). A bit pricey in comparison to other Irish Pubs but worth it. Will definitely be visiting again.

FANTASTIC! Visiting Cali & absolutely LOVED this place! Atmosphere was wonderful, service was prompt, food tasted really good! We experienced the “Whiskey Vault” where the owner spent a great deal of time teaching us the ins & outs of drinking whiskey. A+ experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this location and suggest you leave a rating to help others.

Repurposed from a bank, this Irish pub-style restaurant does not just offer a meal. It offers an experience with live music on Thursdays and an upcoming St. Patrick's Day event. There is covered outdoor seating next to heaters but indoor seating is where you would get front-row seats to the band playing familiar favorites, like Danny Boy. You seat yourself and can choose between tables and sitting at the bar. Staff are friendly and even recognize regulars to Father Paddy's. We ordered the cajun prime rib bites as an appetizer and, oh boy, was it tender and flavorful. Bathed in olive oil with a delicate mix of vinegar and spices, juicy cuts of beef were complemented with the bite, zestiness of the horseradish cream served on the side. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the fish and chips and the shepherd's pie (with soda bread). Potatoes are transformed into tasty sides here; the fries had a housemade flavor and the mashed potatoes embracing the shepherd's pie were fluffy. Although the meat and vegetable mix in the shepherd's pie came together into what can be truly defined as comfort food, we were surprised that butter was not included on top. Our desert came highly recommended by our waitress: the fireball apple crisp. With the scoop of vanilla ice cream adding creaminess, the sweetness of syrupy apples is buried under the treasure of rolled oats and granola. The combination of crunch and softness worked well. I'd say the prices are a bit on the high end for the portions and quality of food but, taking into account the overall experience, coming here is more about the environment and people. The main draw of this pub and restaurant is to enjoy a meal while basking in the jolly musical stylings of the live band, shaking a noisemaker together with others, and laughing with friends.

Exceeded our expectations, everything was great, however my Holy Hot chocolate was tepid and the Shepard's pie needed a bit more seasoning. But, then again we all have different tastes. I'm used to my grandma sauteing the onions, carrots, etc in real butter before adding and using all fresh veggies. I'm a bit spoiled. It was still good. No fault on their end. Our server was great and a very busy bee. No slackers at this place. It's a definite return location.

This is a great place has good food and darts. Only problem was the area the dart boards are in is pretty crowded and people need to get through there to get to the restroom. Happy they at least have darts though. One of the better spots I found in sacremento to throw.

My Mama invited me here. Note self seating location, so don't stand around like a nerd like I did. We started with drinks, Mama had a Cadillac Paloma, I a Guiness. We shared the prime rib bites which had a side garlic bread and horseradish. She got a large chicken Cesar, I ordered the almond crusted shrimp which had a delish honey sauce; mashed taters and veg. Our server was super chill yet attentive. Lovely experience, plan to return.

All the food was delicious! The calamari was fresh & hand battered. The tartar sauce was among the best I've ever had. The sausage plate had three different types of sausage & a couple hand made biscuits.
