The perfect combination of class and quality. First of all, unmatched service and manners from the staff. I felt like I had been coming here for years even though I’m not even from Long Island.
The food is to die for. It’s so delicious and there’s so much of it. Don’t be fooled, this isn’t a silly, NYC overpriced “fine” Italian restaurant. This was made for everyone. The prices are perfectly matched for the portion size. You think it’s too much? You’ll be taking some food home for a few days. Don’t you worry. It’s worth every penny.
The Chinese Chicken is top notch. I had to put that out there before I note anything else. We started with La Parma salads which were a nice, light opener. Then we got the Brussels sprouts, calamari, Chinese chicken, salmon, and a pasta with broccoli. I won’t even try to explain it. It was all so good. Go for yourself and understand why this is such an incredible institution.
My wife, I and several friends had diner here on our visit from FL. La Parma is my favorite Italian restaurant in Nassau County. I was surprised to find out that the Port Washington location was closed as it is a little closer. The food is always great! (family style), service is top notch. See you in November!
Great Italian food n great people working. Linguine best on Long Island. So many choices. Go Enjoy!!
Food was very tasty and hot!!! Plenty of food and their sangria was refreshing. Staff was very friendly especially Gerald the owner's son who served us. We will be back!
Excellent food, huge family style portions. But this is a dining experience. Don't expect to eat quickly. It's always crowded and busy. Waiters are nice and bust their hump working. A reservation is almost always a must. My martini was a little watered down but nice size.
The food is always great. The wait staff are always attendant. The owner always ensure you are well-satisfied. Who wouldn't be!
The is fine family dining. Great food with good portions for a family. Drinks were ample. Service was over the top good.
First time there celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious and the service spot on. Priced very reasonable for family style dining. Highly recommended.
First time I went to la parma ordered out it was great i will be back. Ordered linguini with red clam sauce and linguini with white clam sauce. Price was comparable to other restaurants in area but much more food and better. Those 2 trays were $18 each. They weren't afraid to put clams and garlic in.
It's hard for me to go out for Italian food because I grew up in an Italian family. Usually the sauce isn't as good as home, and it's usually overly salty. I've gotta say I was incredibly satisfied with La Parma's output.
The food is served family style which I didn't care for but as long as the group you're with is cooperative it should work out ok. The portions are properly sized for large families.
The food was seasoned perfectly and wasn't too salty at all. The staff was very nice and helpful and attentive to the table as well. The drinks at the bar were nice and strong.
