It was my first time trying Gregory’s Coffee and I got the Smashing Pumpkin. My drink was made perfectly. I’ll definitely be going back.
Great to have a coffee shop in the area with outlets and wifi. Drinks were great and service was very friendly. I also loved the flavor of the avocado toast. Tables are a little small but no problem as a place to get a little work done in the middle of the day. I'll happily come back.

This is one of the best locations of Gregory's coffee I've been to. (I've been to one New York location and three in DC so far.) I prefer Gregory's because of my plant based diet and the variety of foods and beverages available for people like me makes it one of the best spots for me to telework.
The barista who assisted me, Rashawnda, was awesome with how she listened as I asked questions and considered trying new seasonal drinks. She also made my drink so pretty!! 😊
The location was really clean and had a good amount of space for people to sit down and chat or work. There's also street parking nearby. I came mid-afternoon this time, and there wasn't a line, but there were some people already there enjoying the plant vibes you get at Gregory's.
My only feedback is the current menu setup. I noticed there aren't any warnings of nut allergy's on the drink or food items. Most of the drinks say almond or oatmilk if that's used, but one of the seasonal drinks I saw her making was made with pistachio milk foam instead of regular milk foam, but you wouldn't know from reading the menu.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this location to suit your coffee, tea, and chill vibes needs.
the workers are so sweet, and the coffee and cookies are sooo yummy. i truly enjoyed my time here! especially the decor, everything feels nice and cozy. definitely worth the visit :) i recommend an iced chai latte, it is very delicious!
One of the best mocha lattes I've ever had. It wasn't too sweet, had a great flavor, good size, good price, and well made. Place had a good atmosphere. Was clean for a 2PM visit. Had a bit of foot traffic, and pretty busy, but only one person in front of me. Coffees were coming out at a good pace and the staff was nice. I'd definitely come back and go out of my way if I were in the area to get another coffee from here.

I'm sipping one of their mochas as I write this and I have to say I'm impressed. It isn't often that I get a great flavored coffee that isn't over sweetened. The coffee doesn't even have a hint of bitterness. The barista pulls a perfect shot. She also didn't overuse the mocha sauce or flavor. The coffee tastes a lot like Evan Bros out of Sandpoint, Idaho.
I also got a chocolate chip cookie, which isn't the best, but it's decent. I'm going to save the rest of it and put it in the microwave at home. I think it will be better. Chris, the cashier was super nice and extremely helpful. Wish I would've seen the baristas name, too. She is a very talented barista. Sheade a perfect heart in my crema! Anyways, the atmosphere was modern industrial. Not overly comfortable, but quaint. The service was excellent and fast. I'll be back when I'm back in DC in a few weeks.
If you are in the area try it. If a place can make a decent mocha, the rest of their coffees are generally going to be good, too.
Loved my experience and drink here! The indoor decor is so hip and cute. The menu choices all sounded amazing but I went with the matcha latte with oat milk. It was perfectly matcha-y and unsweetened (my favorite). One of the best matcha drinks I have gotten in the dc area. My friend got the chai and he said it was great as well.
This place ticks all the boxes, good service, GREAT COFFEE and wonderful atmosphere. I have visited this coffee place everyday I stayed here. The coffee always had a personal touch. The picture below is a cortado with skim milk.
The barista was amazing and welcoming and answered any questions I had in regards to my drink.
Superb coffee, delicious almond butter + chia + strawberry toast, and great service. Reasonable value for the high quality. This is a welcome addition to downtown’s many coffee places.
