This place have great food, atmosphere and service but the prices were a bit steep for me.
Rotisserie chicken is normally 5 or 6 bucks but here it 21 for a whole chicken. Yes it has sides but still...
Otherwise everything is delicious and well made!
Casual, casual kid-friendly. Plenty big tables to spread out. Cafeteria style trays that you leave on the trash can on your way out. Last time I was there you pay and take a ticket and wait till you get called to go back up to get your food. I usually had an afternoon burger and ate at a table, watched a little soccer ⚽️ in the daytime and relaxed. It's as casual as casual gets. Sometimes that's what you need! It's a fast food joint with better food and without the obnoxious colors. I love their green sauce in the little cups.
Chicken sandwich. Get one. Eat one. Be at peace.
I can't say enough good things about this place. From the astounding food to the lovely atmosphere to the nicest owner in all of DC. This is a place that's worth supporting at least once a week. Simply love it! I'll be coming here all the time now!

I love this place. It's like rotisserie chicken, but way more delicious! They have a large menu, but I always end up with a full chicken with two sides for $17 (and you can't use a credit card under $20). Great neighborhood place, definitely worth checking out.
Best bang for your buck in DC. I love the Verde sauce!
Pretty good chicken! I got myself a 1/4 chicken breast with plantains and yucca with an horchata for $12. It was taste, fresh and satisfying. They are quick with the food orders and have a variety of food options.
I got the best sandwich I've had in some time here. Excellent.
El pollo sabroso is probably one of the best places to eat Peruvian style chicken, it is always tender and juicy. They also have lots of other stuff, pupusas are decent and the owners are really nice people, I've seen them feeding the homeless, always giving back to the community. Way to go Pollo Sabroso!
