This spot is a STAPLE in uptown (N.W.) D.C. It’s been around for over 40 years serving up that good carryout food!! Items Reviewed: Their Mango Smoothie (with Tajin on the rim $6). STAMP!! Refreshing, FRESH, & cool!! Their Complimentary Chips & Salsa (with salsa Roja). DELICIOUS! Tasty. Their Pupusa’s (1 with cheese, 1 with pork & cheese,1 with bean & cheese, a cabbage slaw & hot sauce $3.50 each). STAMPthem ALL!! Thin, crisp, cheesy, with that slaw & hot…absolutely delicious!! Their Seafood Ceviche (with diced crab legs, fish, shrimp, onions, cilantro, lime, & corn $16.95). STAMP!! Tart, meaty, & well seasoned!! Their Steak n Cheese Combo (flat steak with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, cheese, mustard, & seasoned fries $11.95). LIKE THAT!! This took me back to my youth, not the highest quality ingredients…but good!! The fries were DELICIOUS! Their Sopa De Mariscos (a mildly spicy creamy soup with shrimp, mussels, calamari, clams, scallops, fish fillets, vegetables, and clams $19.95). STAMP!! Get this!! A little heat, creamy…almost cheesy, & well prepared!! Their Tacos (All on corn tortillas with Pico de Gallo, a verde salsa) Their Carne Asada Taco($4.95)…STAMP!! Well seasoned, tender beef!! Their Chicken Taco ($4.75)…LIKE THAT!! Add that salsa!! Their Shrimp Taco ($5.95)…LIKE THAT!! Plentiful garlicky shrimp, tasty!! Their Don Juan Mar Y Tierra Platter (with grilled shrimp, sausage, NY Steak, chicken, a fried egg, rice, black beans, Pico de Gallo, cheese, & jalapeños $29.95). STAMP the sausage, & shrimp. Grilled to perfection. The steak, & sides were LIKE THAT!! Well blended, & seasoned!! The Chicken was DELICIOUS!Tasty with that verde salsa. . Customer Service: On Point . Online Navigation: Easy . We stopped in here because we heard they had good pupusas. Naturally, we ordered every kind they offered and add in a couple of tamales as well to round it all out. All the food was good, and the staff was very nice!

This was an awesome experience! We worked late and needed food. They were open late and the service was still amazing! The food was delicous even the left overs 🥰

I have passed this place for years. Finally sat down and was throughly impressed. Fajitas were on point. Plantains cooked perfectly. My GF never had a corn tamale before, she now has a favorite new dish. The Papousas were my absolute favorite. Definitely a must return 🔥👍🏿

It has good food and all I think maybe cause it was a soccer game that day it was loud ,then there was a dj with very complicated audio that sounded pretty bad but all in all it was good
