My family and I stumbled upon this place en route to a day cruise. We tried the ribs, chicken, turkey leg, and chicken breast. A previous reviewer claimed it to be pricey. However, it is D.C. and the portions are huge! With the exception of the turkey, no one could finish their meal. (And my husband and older son have quite the appetite!) Also, the gentleman who I believe owns the establishment was sooo friendly.... you can't help but want to return. The only suggestion would be to mark the containers because, with all that yummy bbq sauce, it is hard to distinguish what is what;)
I can speak to the delicious succulent meaty spare ribs cooked to perfection and the BBQ sauce is a combination of tangy and spicy. Wish they were open in spring time.
Here's how tempting these were. My husband and I already had dinner but we had to try them. Delicious, juicy, meaty. The people working there were sweethearts, too.
Best BBQ in town.... Not overly expensive but it's worth the price regardless. The sauce is delicious.
