Floriana remains a mainstay on 17th street. The atmosphere is kitschy but pleasant, and the food is mostly consistent. The lamb gnocchi remains one of my faves; however, the gnocchi far outweighed the quantity of sauce on my last visit. Also I found myself asking for the salt on all of our appetizers. Overall, though, for the money, it’s a nice Italian option in the neighborhood. I was confused why we were being pushed a bit to turn the table as there were many empty tables around us on the patio….
Five stars. Delicious. Highly recommend the lasagne and the tortelloni mignon… both were so wonderful. Atmosphere- sat outside, beautiful night. Servers very helpful.
Would also recommend chocolate mousse and tiramisu. (Would have posted more images but it started to get dark out and I did not photograph meal and dessert)
I had an awesome first time experience with a special friend.. we had the lamb gnocchi, shrimp & scallops risotto and the beef lasagna is amazing it’s a must have
so wonderful! we loved everything from the service to the ambiance and best of all the food. service was prompt and the best we experienced in a long time! this place was so intimate and cozy and better than many popular italian spots in manhattan- such a shock. our host was very thoughtful and the waiters were helpful and very kind. we would love to come here again!
Reasonably priced, delicious brunch food. I was seated outside towards the end of brunch, thankfully near a heater. Being outside I saw the waitstaff a bit less. I had wanted more coffee but didn’t want to go looking for somebody inside. Even with the coffee experience, I would go back again for more brunch (maybe even another round of chicken biscuit)
Rich, flavorful and comforting Italian food. The service was excellent, Juan, was friendly and personable. The outdoor seating is perfect for a cool summer night while the dinning room inside has a cozy aesthetic.

The food was absolutely fantastic! The appetizer wasn't really big enough to share, but it was delicious. The scallop risotto was amazing, and a generous portion size! It's a bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the yummy seafood.
Thanks for a lovely anniversary dinner!
Tables are crowded in, but it’s a nice atmosphere. Service was attentive.
The wines were great (cotes du Rhône) and the steak was superb. I wasn’t a huge fan of the tortelloni mignon, but my husband liked it. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. I was a fan of the chocolate mousse as well. I’d come back for sure!
Wonderful Italian in a romantic old school setting. The food is delicious, highly recommend getting a few starters or salad before pasta to enjoy the breadth of the menu. Pasta is amazing of course homemade and wonderful sauces and fillings.
Met friends there for dinner. The rack of lamb was superb, tasty and delicious. The chocolate chip peach bread pudding was a delightful surprise. I'm not sure how accessible it is for physically challenged as the inside steps are narrow and turn sharply .Would definitely go back to try other dinners. The wife thoroughly enjoyed the rock fish." it was very good with polenta " seasoned without being overly seasoned.
