This place is amazing! So much variety. I love forbes and found out you can order online! Salt water taffy is my favorite. And they do such a great job. We went twice to this store during our stay for the week. Both times the employee was amazing. She gave us help with not only the selection in the store but also stuff in the area. She was so helpful and kind and new customer service so well! Wish we lived near this store i would be a weekly visitor! Definitely check this place out!!
Was amazed by the variety of chocolate molds and gift sets available. The chocolate was almost too nice to eat. The candies make nice gifts and will put a smile on your face.

Forbes has been around since 1930, and the world is a better place for it. The customer service is excellent. The store is very clean and tidy. But let's get to the most important part....the candy!!!
I went straight for the chocolates behind the glass. They have buckeyes!!! I was told that the chocolates were made five miles away at their factory, and you can't beat that. The freshness is noticeable. The chocolate was VERY good. I loved the buckeyes. I also ordered a huge peanut butter cup and now I am in a chocolate coma. I left, and I am still left with a great impression. I will be back. Well done.
I love this place! They have the BEST chocolate I've ever tasted. And the selection of taffy is endless! My favorite is the peanut butter taffy. The staff is always so nice and helpful. I treat my children and myself once a week. Hands down without a doubt the best candy store in va.
We stopped in here while on vacation so that our three kids could try some real fudge. It was absolutely delicious. We came back a second time to get some more to share with family and friends back home. The smells alone are worth a visit.

The best for decades - locally made candies - I could go on forever, but you must have some fudge - my favorite is basic chocolate walnut or pecan, but the peanut butter, maple, or plain is wonderfully creamy & just right. Their salt water taffy comes in every imaginable flavor, and guess what? Visiting Hilton Head, I thought I'd try their Hilton Head logo box, flipped it over and it was made by Forbes in Virginia Beach! So check your taffy boxes & you can have Forbes at another beach. Love the chocolate/white chocolate seashells, and LOVE ordering big Easter eggs with names iced on them, either coconut, fruit and nut (won't find that at the grocery store), peanut butter, not sure what other fillings. So good, and sliced with a knife lasts way longer than Easter afternoon. This store is in one of the Hilltop shopping centers, the first on the right approaching from the oceanfront. It's next to a coffee shop with outdoor seating - nice combo - coffee and fudge and sunshine. I think there are 2 oceanfront shops on Atlantic Ave. Those are loaded with tourist items, but I sometimes go there for some starfish earrings after taking a walk at the beach....with my fudge. Laskin Road is a locals shop with beachy items, and all kinds of candies made here in VA Beach at their candy plant, factory, cooking place, whatever you call it.

Love going to this sweet shop, always great service, and goodies, a little something for your sweet tooth, AND they also have sugar free items as well.
A great selection of tasty treats - get the chocolate covered bacon and some sea salt carmel chocolate cubes.
The place inside looks amazing and maybe I can go over there sometime. 😊
