SO friendly and did not rush me on the phone while ordering and making modifications to meals. Delivery driver was so energetic and sweet! I gave only 4 star because the pepper steak I ordered tasted off. Too sweet and also too salty…kinda rancid tasting. And the fried rice was nothing but rice no veggies no egg..no veggies..not used to that lol. Flavor was good though! Disappointing but everything else was AMAZINGGG. It’s hard to find good general Tso, there’s was perfect! Will DEFINITELY be returning and telling people about this place!!
This place is easily the most underrated Chinese takeout in VB. The food was great and the best part is it’s super affordable. I ordered General Taos chicken for lunch for $9 and I still had leftover for dinner. Come and check it out.
This is my third time ordering from Hong Kong House. They are by far the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Virginia. Although, I typically only order crab ragoons (didn't order tonight) & General Tso chicken, I'm sure everything is good on the menu. The service is always quick, staff is kind, the food itself is full of flavor, and always fresh. I highly recommend this little gem, you will not be disappointed.
They have the best fried rice in the 757! I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint! I ordered chicken and shrimp fried rice. REAL chicken breast chunks and juicy medium shrimp! I also had orange chicken and beef lumpia. Homemade orange sauce and the lumpia roll is large and tasty. They will keep getting my business!
4 stars because of the chicken in the sweet and sour chicken combo lunch. It was very good and not all breading.
Would have been 3, The egg roll was crispy, but didn't really have much in it. And the fried rice, containing only egg, was flavorless even though it looked like it was drenched in soy sauce. The price was good. I will try again before deciding if I like or don't like this place.
Fried chicken wings are huge, like a real chicken not those tiny, dried wings you normally you get... tasty also, garlic wing sauce is delish!
First time visit, l must say the pork chops rice and gravy was pretty good they were some big pork chops.
Pretty good overall and one of the best in hampton roads! Pepper steak had really good flavor, but could use less sugar in the gravy. Very good shrimp fried rice and fried chicken wings, but chicken was barely done
Great place for chinese! A touch on the sweet side, but chicken was crunchy outside, juicy inside. Food was SO hot, temperature wise. Spicy food is spicy, but not TOO spicy. People are great, plenty of food for the price!
Food is tasty. Believe reviews on the rice - it's good. Love that you can get sweet and sour beef as a side with the combo plate. Price is really good for the amount of food you get. Cashier was very friendly.
