Food was amazing and service was wonderful. Best experience we have had so far for breakfast in the area. We loved the fast and friendly service. I’d have to say the only downside is the vast menu choices, it makes picking one thing very difficult!
Superb breakfast and excellent service. Had the special, the breakfast Monte Cristo, ham, egg and cheese on French toast, really good. My dad enjoyed his short stack.
Great food. The strawberry pancakes had lots of real fruit in them and they were the size of my plate. The cafe has a casual atmosphere and the waitresses and I were on a first name basis by the time I left. I think I'll be back quite often.
Roosters Cafe & Grill is delicious!. I try to stop in at Roosters for breakfast as often as possible. Finally I've found a breakfast spot that will give me pancakes and french toast with my eggs and bacon! The service is excellent, the restaurant is always really clean and polished. This is definitely one of the best spots in Virginia Beach.
1st visit to Rooster's for lunch and will definitely be back for the Party Melt! The down-home service was warm and the Reuben & Club sandwiches were delicious! The famous Greek Fries are a nice treat as well as the fresh, perfectly chilled House Salad....and they have MY 1000 Island Dressing!!

This restaurant has been recently renovated and is rather beautiful inside. The floor is made to look like a swimmy ocean. The diner counter is granite. There is a new mural on the wall. Behind the bar is a beautiful wall of blue geodes. The staff were all jovial and friendly. The food was delicious and just yummy!
We sat at the counter and ordered the white chocolate chip and Oreo pancakes and a Rooster burger. Definitely upgrade your fries Greek style and get a side of tzatziki sauce for dipping!
This is a great little breakfast/lunch restaurant with fun decor, friendly local staff, and delicious food!
Very good food and great service. Had one of the specials. Gravy was good and food was served quick. Coffee was fresh as well, looking forward to return visits.
Overall experience was great! They have a ton of specials and a beautiful ambience that reminds you of the Mediterranean. Boyfriend ordered chicken and waffles and it had white gravy on top which we've never had before, but were pleasantly surprised! I ordered the special omelette of the day: Santorini Omelette which had feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes, shrimp and crabmeat. The shrimp and crab were fresh!!! My only critique is that I felt my food as a whole lacked flavor. It could have used onion, garlic and some paprika. Besides that it was very good!
This place does standard breakfast incredibly. That’s really all there is to say. Just great.
Tara is always such a great person to greet us — no matter how busy they are. And Ciara was our waitress today, who took great care of us — such attentiveness and attention to detail, and so pleasant. And the food was super yummy!! We love going there. And today was one of the best times ever. Thank you, Roosters Cafe!
The food was good. The service was terrific! Price was reasonable. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The restaurant was clean, well lit and spacious. At one point the proprietor came out to talk with some regular customers. (Nice touch) I will be back very soon and I'm bringing friends.
After asking to try Rooster's for weeks, we finally went for breakfast on black Friday. We were greeted by a smiling server who told us to seat ourselves.
After several minutes of looking at the menu, we ordered the western omelet w/rye toast and a bacon breakfast skillet w/white toast and homefries. The homefries had the perfect texture but a little biy more cheese would've had my omelet perfect. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. It came to approx $28 for two breakfast entrees.
Everything was pretty good and I gave 4 stars because my toast was hard. 🤦🏾♀️ This place has that familiar neighborhood diner type vibe... I'd go again to try a sandwich or something for lunch.
My first time coming and I must say I will be returning. There was a wait but they quickly got us seated. Staff very friendly and food was really delicious and worth the price and wait. I had the scrambler and pancakes .Very desirable meal.

The waitress was wonderful, she kept our iced teas full and checked on us frequently. I enjoyed watching how the kitchen staff worked (they worked well As a team and got the orders out quickly) The food was great!
