I went to a place called Hot and Juicy in Florida. I didn’t like the food. I would recommend Shaking Crab to everyone. Only negative review is so many people and not enough space to accommodate everyone
I visited the one on Fordham Dr. This past June. Although I was born in Norfolk, I have lived in S.E. Ohio for 50 years. I had been wanting soft shell crabs for years, and was overjoyed to find them on the menu. They were delicious!! Way beyond expectations. Can't wait to come back! bster and they never have crab.
We love a good seafood, this place did not disappoint. The food was great! We like the menu selections. Love that they had a king crab and shrimp combo. I prefer shrimp with head-on, so I appreciate that you can sub the ones with head-off. The seasoning flavors were tasty. Love the fried soft shell crab, and the chicken tenders were good, too. They give you popcorn while you wait for your food.
The service was awesome. We came for dinner on a Saturday night. It was busy and packed, but we're able to join the wait list online. We were seated within 10-15 min of arriving. Our server was fast, efficient, and attentive. He was knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions.
For parents- we have a toddler, so these are some of the things we pay attention to. There's a high chair available, but the one we got was sticky, so we just wiped it down, and the strap is not broken. There's no kids menu. The bathroom was not very clean.
Great bagged boils here! The flavor is amazing. The fried baskets are pretty much just that if you're not big in seafood. Start of with popcorn at your table much like restaurants do with peanuts; Very unique. There is writing all over the walls! Not graffiti per day but more like random bathroom stall random scribble EVERYWHERE. Little to no wait for lunch and the service was great.
Amazing!!! Got the scallops and shrimp in the shaking sauce (lemon pepper, garlic & Cajun) and my bf got the king crab legs in the shaking sauce. We both got medium spic level. If you like spicy, medium is perfect, you’re not sweating through your meal. Everything we ordered was terrific. We got the breaded lemon pepper wings as an appetizer. They were lightly breaded and not overpowered by the lemon pepper. Beers during happy hour were $2! Great service, great food. Extremely well priced. Highly recommended!
The food portion, TASTE!!!, price is perfect. It was amazing. We drove from hour away and it was worth it. Originally from NY we eat seafood often and been to more than a dozen of these crab boil locations from MAINE to TEXAS. This boil did not disappoint at all!! Will be back so far top of the list!
My boyfriend and I came here a little over a week ago with some family and we had a great time our server was very nice, funny and helpful. The food was great and had pretty good portion sizes too especially for a bag of seafood. I got the bag of shrimp with corn and potatoes with the Cajun sauce and it was great. Very nice environment and atmosphere here would definitely come back again.

I wasn’t that impressed when I first walked in, but when we sat down and were served by very pleasant people and the place started to fill up I quickly understood the attraction. Our waitress, was a good conversationalist and was very helpful in making our afternoon date very pleasant. The food was great, especially the flavor soaked potatoes that this Irish man truly enjoyed.
Foods good. Prices make you wish you hadn't. $12-$13 to add sausage to 1lb of shrimp bag? So if I got 3 bags they charging me $36-$39 total for adding just sausage to all the bags? Hell no.
All in all the food was extremely tasty! Actually being realistic the food had some serious flavor. My only complaint, food portion for the price! Other than that being my only complaint, I think food was great. We were seated quickly, our waitress was great, and the service was excellent. I definitely will be eating here again.
Always a good experience. Service is always great, and the crabs are seasoned just right. Love the shakin crab sauce.
