Nice booths with life-size photo-realistic murals of people that look like they're dining with you. For breakfast you have all your basic food groups with a Mexican spin.
great Experience !
We stopped in for Saturday lunch. The restaurant was very cute dressed in southwest and Route 66 motif.
The salad bar looked inviting. I ordered it for $2.99 with an entree. The highlight was the soup. One of the two was pasole rojo. Very flavorful soup with a chicken base, Red chilies and pork. Yum yum.
I should have just ordered the salad bar and skipped the entree.
Pulled up for lunch today and parking lot was full with several cars leaving as we arrived. Same inside. Very friendly waitress greeted us. Loved the ham and brisket from the buffet and the Road Kill Dip was very good. Prices were fair and service was excellent. Just a great place to stop for a really good meal
Very Good Food. We ate at the Pow Wow Restaurant after a very long road trip and it was a wonderful place. The people were really nice, the atmosphere was relaxing and best of all the food was very good.
Seriously, the BEST cheese enchiladas I have ever tasted! First time I've ever heard of adding an egg on top (i like over medium), and I tried it...it was amazing! Very complimentary! And the rice and beans were great too...very authentic Mexican (maybe more Spanish influenced) food. Overall, excellent! And the paintings on walls are beautiful too.
Good place to stop if going down I-40.. Excellent posole on the soup/sald bar.
Salad was standard iceberg lettuce style.
Stuffed sopapilla was generous. Had chicken with red/green (Chistmas) combination. Sauces were a bit mild and brown sauce used to smother was too heavy-handed.
But a good meal with fast/friendly service.
Pretty Good ( :. I had the chicken fried steak (really good) but added roasted chopped green chillies - fantastic!!!
