The name is apropo. This place has favorites that I don't find elsewhere, Frank's hot sauce & Cholula are my top 2 favorites. Soda fountain has Segrahms Ginger Ale. Now on to the "best-ies". The hamburger is steamed which makes the juiciest burger you'll put in your mouth. I wonder why others aren't doing this? The frys are seasoned just right, crisp on the outside melt in your mouth inside. Batter dipped fish with tarter sauce and another favorite I haven't see anywhere else except my own kitchen, "Malt Vinegar". I would give this place 10 stars and will definitely go back soon.

Excellent operation here! The concept of burger and fish is such a great combination. The steamed patty was moist which gave it a flavor that needs to be tasted. Definitely repeating this experience.
The food was so delicious! The burger was so juicy, thick, and flavorfilled. The bacon was thick and crunchy and added to the burger so great. Mac and cheese bites are the best either appetizer or kids dish! The prices are wonderful too! Cant wait to come back for more.
This place is awesome. Got the BFF and I'm glad I did because its the best of everything. The fish has a nice light coating and the mac bites are just the same, light coating and so good. The steamed burgers are something everyone should try. I personally think these burgers have more favor than Lindeys! I would choose this again and again. The customer service is always welcoming and helpful. Lastly price is good for the amount of food you get!!
I have become a bit of a regular here. The staff is epic and the food is such a great change of pace. Steamed burgers is where its at. Owner is truly a good dude and you can tell he is genuinely appreciative of every person that walks through the door. Love this place.

Another great visit to Besties! It's been a couple of months and this place is definitely establishing itself in Tucson's westside. It was good to see a good number of the tables occupied by happily satiated customers. The steamed, Connecticut style burgers were just as moist and tasty as my previous visit. The quality ingredients are still shining through. I was also smart enough to remember to order that extra piece of fried fish. Hot and crispy with a squeeze of fresh lemon and tartar sauce, it really hit the spot.
This spot deserves another review, now that they've reopened.
The place isn't anything special physically, but the owner is an honest man who makes great food at amazing prices.
The menu is always evolving and expanding, with burgers and fish as the lunch staples and a decent spread for breakfast.
This was almost my daily lunch before they closed, and now that they're back I'll be adding them to my usual routine once more.

I rarely give out five stars because I believe five stars is what a place earns when an establishment greatly exceeds expectations. Besties does that. The guy running the place was very friendly. He was taking and preparing orders. It's a casual place, and does not try to come off as something it's not. The menu is simple, and the food is hot and delicious. The burgers are steamed, and very tender and juicy. And cheese. OMG. Cheese! So much melty cheese. Paired nicely with the fried fish that had a nice, crisp batter.
Its worth coming here just for the hush puppies. The steamed burgers live up to the hype and most of the menu items are very reasonable especially with how big a combo is, I had to take the rest of mine home. Be sure to say hi to Kade the owner and chef he is a Tucson legend.
Wow! Best cheeseburger I have ever eaten! The fries are also great, crunchy on the outside and tender inside. Will definitely be visiting Besties frequently.
Fried to the bestest golden perfection. One of the greatest fish and chip joints in town. They could use a good beer selection and a new parking lot but this is a gem of Tucson
