Tacos were delicious 😋 I tried the Apson (my fave by far), Pastor, lengua, cabeza and Asada. All were very good paired with the salsas and pickled onions. The 6 hour drive from San Diego was beautiful, and the tacos capped it off beautifully and so worth it!!!!
I was disappointed with the rib, many reviewers and Mark Wiens raved about them..... mine was dry and lacking any real meat- tough/ dry and really a let down for sure 😞
Maybe it was luck of the draw, and I got a bad one. 🤷♂️
Next time I'm in Tucson, I'll be stopping by for more tacos for sure tho!!!!!
Apson is legendary. The Rasurado Taco is one of the best tacos I've ever had. It's super tender rib meat that they grill off on the flat top and that's it. A bit greasy but incredible. You can also get a full rib by itself and lots of people were ordering these.
The Lorenzo is also a top contender with lots of refried beans and carne asada on a crispy grilled corn tortilla. The beans are thicker than Nenes so it can be a little heavy but worth it.
The Haas Taco with the Green Chiles and cheese is great if you like Green Chiles.
The salsa bar has everything you need with the charred red salsa being the best. Make sure to order a side of grilled onion and chile since they don't come with your order.
The cabeza and lengua looked great too, maybe next time.
Food was delicious! Specially the Taco Chino, Taco Apson and the ribs, although everything else was on point. Service is awesome, quick and clean. Food is being prepared right in front you. I've visited only once, I wish there was more customers 'cause this place deserves it.
These are really incredible tacos. Nothing fancy about the joint, but the food is so incredible.
There’s a nice condiments bar as well after you order.
If you are looking for aunthentic meat first tacos in Tuscon, this is the place. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The beef rib taco was our favorite. The char on that rib is perfection, with a squeeze of lime soo soo good. Carne asada here is flavorful and so is the Al Pastor. Must eat Tuscon tacos.
Yes to everything about this place. Best tacos I've ever had. Ever. Decided to check this place out after watching a review on YouTube and it definitely lived up to my expectations.

The tacos were amazing. I had three tacos two were barbacoa and one was tongue. They were equally delicious. My husband tried the carne asada and the tongue and he said it was the best tacos he has ever had. If you love tacos these are definitely worth the stop off of I-10.
Fantastic food and even greater people. Service here is helpful, really nice people. Portions are generous. I ate here four out of five nights I was in town for training, different item each time and loved it all. Nice covered but open-air seating as well if you want.
Delish Rib tacos, street tacos and other meats here too, it was busy but service was fast. .we didn't have to wait to long for our food. I saw this place on Mark Weins YouTube channel and thought I'd give it a try. Parking is limited, I lucked out and got a spot in the front, I think they have more parking in the back. The thing I didn't like was there were a ton of flies trying to get a nibble on my ribs, maybe they need to add some fly strips?? It was good tho.
Great local place. Outside seating only, but it's covered and has cooling fans. Really good food!
