Big outdoor area open! Unfortunately no heat lamps (at least as of about a week ago when we were there), but they have a big tent set up outside, so just come bundled up. They had a little dumpling food truck on site, too. It was my first time there; I got a flight and loved all the beers! Great IPAs, but they have a lot of other options on tap, too. Really friendly guy pouring our beers!
Really great place to enjoy a sports ⚽️ 🏈 🏀 game with your mates. Jaime does a fantastic job, she give you a good sample of the beers 🍻 you can try. If you like it then she serves it. Thank you for this experience!
Counterbalance....a duck......Monty Python.....a deck...and a 10 glass flight......perfect!!
What is not to like about this place. The beer is amazing. Their full flight is 10 choices...could be more....They have a nice outdoor deck. And they refuse to say that they named the brewery Counterbalance with a duck as a logo because of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Of course I am referring to the "she's a witch" skit... but we know different......brilliant! This place rocks as well as the developing neighborhood around it. You need to check it out...

Great beer, both staples and special brews, in a relaxed atmosphere. A great place to stop on your way to/from the airport, stadia or Georgetown's restaurants. Unfortunately, the last day is 1 October 2022... Such a loss for those who love good beer.
GREAT beers and vibes! 10/10 recommend. Seriously go check em out - their beers are SO tasty and amazing staff!

My dog, my wife, and myself included are avid about this brewery. They not only have an ambiance that feels homie, but the beers are creative, and the service is outstanding. I've coordinated with the owner about a private event, and while currently postponed due to the pandemic, I am fully dedicated to getting our local wedding reception here. Our friends and family we've brought over the years have been highly impressed and often bring it up in conversation - they are also next door to a homebrew supply so two birds with one stone bonus.
Very nice brewery. Tasty beer, many styles for a small brewery. Great service. TVs and nice rotating local artwork. Half price growler fills Monday!
Really good craft brews on tap here. IPAs, ales, pilsnerr, stout, and they rotate a different offering pretty regularly. Right now they have a hazy beer called Secret Summer on tap but you need to get there soon or they'll run out. No matter... it will get replaced with something new. Monday's are half price growlers so expect a few more folks then. If they had food I'd be inclined to give 5 stars. They will allow you to bring in a burger or pizza though. Great spot for good beer.
