Excellent BBQ here, had the 3 protein/1 side option; brisket, pulled pork, hot links, and potato salad. Very tasty, great portions for the cost, and very nice staff helping us. Will be back to try their Monday meatloaf sandwich and continue eating their Q. Brought some leftover links to co-workers and they devoured it, and said very tasty with the right amount of heat. You gained another foodie customer!
Love ! Way way tooo much food for the prices 🐥 they have incredible food 👍🏻 I had leftovers for breakfast and dinner .. love all bags packed to order no question and no digging love love staff
Amazing food and incredibly helpful staff. This place is now my favorite restaurant in Pioneer Square maybe all of Seattle.
Nummy!. I had the BBQ brisket sandwich with cole slaw. The brisket was very tender and I had them put the mild BBQ sauce on the sandwich. The BBQ sauce was slightly sweet, spicy and had a bit of coffee in it. Excellent food and good prices. The service was great. I would go back and eat here again.

So delicious .... Having recently eaten here after a few years since my last visit, I forgot how incredibly delicious this place is. You can't go wrong w/ whatever protein you select for your sandwich (beef brisket, pork shoulder, smoked turkey breast, or smoked chicken thigh).
The smokiness of each option is through the roof, the meat is so incredibly tender, and the buns are perfectly thick enough to sop up all the bbq sauce, which btw is the perfect balance of sweetness, tang, and spiciness.
Probably what sets this bbq experience apart from others are the sides, specifically the baked beans. They are finished in the same smoker used for the meats, which gives the beans an incredibly thick and rich flavor. I can't remember the last time i was ever so excited for beans.
The place is an ideal lunch spot if you work downtown, but even if you don't, it's worth the trip in to taste probably the best bbq sandwich in the city.
Only place I will go. I recently went to a couple of other popular BBQ places in the Seattle area. From now on this is the only place I will go for BBQ. Their sauce is less sweet than others and has a great smokey flavor which is part of what I really like. Oh yeah, the meat is also very tender.
Pulled Pork is excellent. When you walk in Hole in the Wall you feel like you're walking into a BBQ joint. The floors are plywood and the air smells like smoke that makes good BBQ. I saw a special for Pig with Lipstick and ordered. I added a side of Tater Salad.
They use pork shoulder for their pork sandwich and it was served with sauce and slaw already in place. I could have used a little more sauce, but the the meat was incredibly moist and tasty. The bun was straight from a bag, which works with this type of BBQ. This is probably some of the better pulled pork I've had in Seattle and I easily could have had more.
The Tater Salad had a bit of a zing to it, but wasn't my preferred style of potato salad. I'd pass and try some of their award winning chili.

On my second visit I ordered my pulled pork "hot and wet". The extra sauce was very welcome, however the hot was almost too hot. People who are big fans of heat will should definitely try it. (I'm a self-admitted wuss when it comes to spice.)
No foolin'. My co-worker from Kansas approves, so this must be good stuff. I know a pork sandwich ordered hot and wet hits the spot every time.
Killer BBQ lunch downtown, serious BBQ joint!. They have limited lunch hours, and sometimes run out of items, so be sure to go early if you can. However, they always have something unless you are there 2 minutes before they close!
The BBQ here is excellent, I always get the BBQ pork sandwich with the potato salad. Delicious!
The beef brisket is nice too, I've had it when they run out of Pork.
This is a serious BBQ joint.
Visited Hole in the Wall BBQ last Wednesday and had an excellent experience! Opted for the combo plate with three meats and received two brisket portions and one spicy sausage. Unfortunately, they missed including the sausage, which I only realized when I returned to the office. The flavors were incredibly smoky and delicious. My partner ordered the same combo and got the smoked sausage portion, generously letting me have a taste. It was wonderfully smoky, perfectly spicy, and delightfully fatty. Easily a 5/5 rating! Planning to return for ribs on Thursday and Friday, or maybe indulge in their Smoked Meatloaf on Monday. (Note: The attached pictures show leftovers from the next day as I forgot to capture the meal on the day of my visit.)
Got a delicious cup of chili with nachos!! Super tasty and just what I needed for a quick lunch.
First time in today and had a refreshing experience. Customer service is so friendly it actually made me smile. Cashier was super helpful in explaining the options and the guy making my order was very generous and gave me small sample of the brisket so I could know what it was like for next time. I ordered the 2 meat plate and was indecisive between the brisket and sausage (ultimately went with the sausage). Everything was delicious! Potato salad slapped too!
Ordered lunch here for me and two of my co-workers today… it’s Friday! We work in the building up the street from the location … ON FRIDAYS THEY HAVE THE RIBS… I snuck and ordered a RACK OF EM FOR MYSELF.. hahaha my co-workers WERE heated! The BBQ WAS TOP NOTCH… brisket sandwich was soft, it was like literal “BUTTER!!!”. The staff was sooo freaking nice.. they were busy but attentive to each customer and their needs individually and in a timely manner for the next customer! I have 4 words to describe the TASTE 👅… OUT —OF—THIS— WORLD! If you don’t get down here and order some bbq for lunch one of these days I will tack you down and force feed you fall off the bone ribs until you ask for forgiveness for not doing it on your own!!! BOMB! 💣 💣 💣
Probably the best sausages I've ever eaten in my life. Seriously. The woman taking the order was also the kindest person you'll ever meet during your rush lunch hour.
We asked Hole in the Wall BBQ to cater our event this past weekend and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The food was truly outstanding - the meat was perfectly cooked and so flavorful (honestly, didn't even need the bbq sauce that was provided), and the side dishes were equally delicious. The cornbread was some of the best I've ever had. It's clear the owners take pride in their cooking and use only top quality ingredients.
We also have to give special thanks to Diane, the owner, who personally helped deliver the food and went above and beyond to help us get everything set up in our chafing dishes. She was also a joy to work with throughout the planning/order process.
If you are thinking of catering bbq for your event, look no further than Chuck's Hole in the Wall!
Best BBQ in town and great customer service. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, oh so good and that chili was also amazing!
Oh. My. Gosh. We just visited Seattle from North Carolina and this was one of the first places we passed when driving to our hotel. My husband noticed it and was excited to try it. We ended up walking there that afternoon and the food is AMAZING. The ribs fall right off, the pulled pork is 🤩 and it was easily one of the best meals we had while in Seattle. Plus, the owners gave us so many amazing recommendations on where to visit and played a huge part in making our trip fantastic. We will be back the next time we are in Seattle!
Great food. Great hospitality. Great vibes!
Pulled pork and corn bread was solid. Not life changing but good BBQ in downtown Seattle for lunch. I would definitely go back for the food and friendliness of the staff.
