One can always count on new faces, regulars, good drinks, and being "welcomed home" by Joe and his friendly crew. Great place to unwind, relax, and chat with friends. Super cozy. A hidden gem for sure.
What a funky little dive bar! The ambiance was very cool. The drinks menu seems to be highly curated by the owner. They had whiskeys, mead as well as dandelion wine on offer when we were there. Everything we got was delicious.
Easy to get drunk since it's not a cocktail bar. But they had mead and I was happy. I love the random decor and dark lighting. Definitely a chill place for an introvert like me.
Hidden gem! Small and cozy bar with friendly bartender. Decoration was amazing with many details! We enjoyed it!
Not many options for drinks and If you are looking for a food, not a place for you!
Legit Brit-style pub in Pike Place Market’s Post Alley. The space is small and cozy with a few different seating options at the bar or on some comfy couches. The staff is super friendly the menu is refreshingly dead simple.
It's a nice cozy place, with good Irish ambiance!! The tavern has a few whiskeys, wines and their good old pale ale and dark ale. I tried both ales and I can vouch the dark ale is one of the smoothest ales I have had. The person behind bar is sweet and friendly. Perfect places to grab a few drinks and just chat around with friends and family.
PS: The place does not have a lot of seating, but quite a few rustic tables to stand at and people were moving along when we visited, did not take too long to find a place to sit.
Brought a friend here on her way to serve overseas, we loved the ambience it has that takes you to a different era. I got vibes of being a WW2 marine seeing off a buddy, Semper fidelis! Love the vintage sounds of Edith Pifa like vibes while sipping the honey Meade wine- the dandelion wine is spring in a cup. The regulars are interesting characters, a blind guy walks into a bar- it was joyous fun vibes while staying in the shadows and watching social people interact, 😎 chill and just refreshing. Owner was real cool with bouncing ideas regarding advice for those wishing to brew.
This was my first time visiting the tavern, and first time trying mead ( which was amazing). It was a great quiet place. Definitely worth a try.
Hidden gem! This delightful little tavern's down a cobblestone (well-lighted) alley and while the menu's limited (not a full bar), what they do offer is top-notch. I had a Pimm's cup, made fresh, and it was utterly delicious. Ambiance is cozy and the place is usually full of longtime locals. Seating's a bit limited due to space, but this means you'll likely have some great conversations with your table mates, or you can just sit and listen. All in all, this place is great and well worth a visit.
Fun, dark-lit English-feel pub on Post Alley. Very limited drink menu- 2 beers (from a cask), a few wines, a few cocktails, and a few scotches. Pleasant owner/bartender, homey feel. Get the feel as a tourist, I found a locals spot.
