My favorite place to eat when I'm in town. Food is so good, I've never been disappointed! Would just make one suggestion though. The chocolate volcano cake dessert needs to have more chocolate "lava". It was a tad dry. Wouldn't take a star away for it, though. :)
My husband and I visited Ling & Louise's for the first time during our recent vacation in Scottsdale. I had the Kickin’ Kal-bi Sumo Roll. I did not realize the roll came with a dressing/sauce inside. I asked if they could remake it for me without the dressing/sauce and they were happy to do so. Kevin had the Shanghai Shrimp and Scallops. He enjoys a lot of spice so they offered to add some sambal paste to his dish. Both dishes were generously sized and full of amazing flavor. Ashlee provided stellar service - we really enjoyed chatting with her! We will definitely visit Ling & Louise's again during our next visit to Scottsdale.
We attended a birthday party at this venue, and the ambiance was delightful. Turning to the food, the appetizers were not only appetizing but also delectable. While the main courses were enjoyable, the fried rice could benefit from a touch more seasoning. The drinks, however, were exceptional. All in all, it's a great choice for a weekend dinner outing.
Ling & Louie's truly stands out with its captivating ambiance that creates a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The impeccable service adds an extra layer of enjoyment, ensuring a pleasant visit from start to finish. The menu boasts an array of exquisite dishes, and the Spicy Chicken Honey Walnut is a definite standout, tantalizing your taste buds with its perfect blend of flavors. The dessert offerings take innovation to the next level, allowing you to explore the sweet options using 3D glasses. Indulge in the banana caramel spring roll that practically dissolves on your palate and the delightful white chocolate raspberry cheesecake – a harmonious symphony of tastes that's not to be missed.
Delish interesting dishes. Great service. It wasn’t that busy so we were debating staying, but the hostess sold us on a couple of menu items so we stayed. We’ll be back!
Feels too soon to post as I have only been there once and tried two items on the menu, but at least I anticipate going back.
I had the lettuce wraps and the hangover fried rice. I thought both items were very good. Portion size on the fried rice was quite large, I didn't even finish.
Again, very good. I'd like to go back and try some different entrées to see if there is something I would rate at 5 stars.
Wow! This place is incredible! Atmosphere is comfortable and fun. Restaurant is clean. Food is fantastic, and was very happy that they can veganize any dish! Super bonus for me. Service was top notch. We got the Buddhas Feast scallops, General Lings chicken, & Evil Jungle Princess with tofu. Would return here again and again. Oh and those shishito pepper appetizers, to die for!
Date night was great. Music was nice. Environment & Decor was beautiful. The food & drinks were really good. Service was good. Alittle slow but well worth it. Waiters were very nice & accommodating. It was my first time there & I definitely plan on coming back.
Great place for a date night. Nice patio seating with heaters. The honey walnut shrimp was amazing, would absolutely recommend. Dessert menu was a cute, fun experience. And our waitress Abby was great!
Delish! Ling and Louie’s was a fantastic find. The have the option to replace any protein with wok fried tofu. Holy yum! It is just the right combo of lightly crisped outside and soft inside. I had the orange tofu. I ate it so fast i was done before my hubby finished his edamame 😂 We had the spicy edamame which were also delish he had calamari and I believe pad thai. The sauces very delicious and spicy but not so spicy that you couldn’t eat them. They were also tasty spicy and not just hot for the sake of being hot. We ordered take out and the food was still hot when we brought it home. We will definitely be ordering from here again!
My family loves Ling and Louie’s not only for the delicious food but the staff is always very friendly and timely! The Ling’s ginger lime margarita is my favorite specialty drink. The kung pao edamame is a real treat
Update April visit - The menu has changed slightly since December but we were again quite pleased with our selections, enjoying appetizers: chicken wraps and calamari, soup: long life chicken and rice, and the honey walnut shrimp (just could not pass up a favorite from our last visit).
December visit -
We showed up during the daily Happy Hour and ordered two special appetizers. Some wonderful crab sushi and some chicken lettuce wraps, both prepared Gluten Free.
For dinner we had the honey walnut shrimp and the new wave pad thai, both dishes were also gluten free.
For dessert we shared a flourless chocolate cake with strawberries and ice cream - also gluten free.
Most of the dishes, sides, and appetizers are (or can be prepared) gluten free.
We hope to dine there again, as this meal was fantastic!
