Fun atmosphere and great happy hour menu. I loved my margarita! Our waiter was quick and we had a nice experience. Would recommend to any friends visiting the Scottsdale area!
Excellent place and service for get togethers! Had our son’s intimate wedding reception here for about 30 people. Service was top notch and food and drink was excellent. Highly recommend and on another note the decor background gave us great pictures!
This was a super cute spot for a perfect afternoon
Now that the weather is nice we of course had to sit on the patio. I love the waterfall feature outside and the small river separating the upper and lower patio deck adds a nice touch.
Now if you ask of the dish is spicy 🌶️ and they say yes… believe them
The crab cakes came with a side of spicy 🥵 absolutely delicious and absolutely SPICY
I love that it came with a side salad as well
We also ordered the stacked enchiladas with rice and beans
Overall this was a wonderful meal
I can't say enough good things about this spot. We will definitely return time and time again and take out of town visitors! Everything from the moment you walk up is amazing, the atmosphere, service, drinks, food, even Andrew the owner is super personable! They are open til 2a for those having a late night out or getting off work late and want a good sit-down restaurant! Whether a casual dining outing or celebration of a special occasion, this is the place to go!
Carlsbad Tavern is awesome! I had the best food there. The tacos were so tasty, and the chips and salsa were super good. The service was friendly, and the place looked cool. I definitely want to go back soon. Highly recommend!
Went in on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm was greeted right away and seated. My drink came quick and the service was amazing. Every employee was happy and cheerful. I ordered the Santa Fe Club which was out of this world.

We had the potstickers , so so delicious, a must try!
Chips and salsa were good (the green is Spicer than the red ) and so good !
Everyone at the table loved their food.
I got a chimmy and the meat was so tender and yummy, and it was fried perfectly. Rice and beans were also great.
For dessert we got fried ice cream, I honestly didn't love the topping but the ice cream itself was good.
Can't wait to come back when it's cooler and sit outside by the beautiful water feature , the random aliens scattered around were too cute!
I must say, I loved this visit! Loved the Nacho appetisers! All of the toppings, and the jalapenos weren't too spicy. And when my meal came out, that was even better! The French fries were darn near perfectly crisp, and tasted AMAZING!! And the Nacho Burger was even more delicious! Cooked greatly, and the melted cheese made it even better! I would Highly Recommend!
My Scorpion Burger (quite spicy, though not challenging for a devoted pepperhead) was delicious, and my companions enjoyed their meals as well. The interior of the restaurant is comfortable and purposefully a little kitschy, and the outside is pleasant. The food took a time to get out to us, I think because the kitchen staff was stretched. But the experience overall was great fun.
My family and I were looking for a tasty spot for our last dinner in Phoenix and we found it!! What a treat!! Loved every dish we had and we will be back in the fall when we are back in town!!
Be careful, this will become your local favorite before you know it! The veggie enchiladas are hands down the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. Upon request, they will make it as spicy as you’d like. Nowhere else brings the heat like they do. Servers are always kind and attentive. 5 stars, thank you Carlsbad Tavern!
I recently visited the cave themed New Mexican restaurant and was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to another world, surrounded by stunning cave-like decor. The food was equally impressive, with each dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making sure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars all around!
