This place is EXCELLENT. I got here around 11:30 am and it was starting to get busy but their service is quick. They have an amazing patio set up! Dog friendly.
The portion is large and everything is great value and tasted amazing
The pho was excellent and the rice plates was so tasty. Do not forget to get the pork spring roll. Yum!
Step inside this restaurant and I forget that I'm in the US. It's noisy, bustling, and smell like a typical Vietnamese restaurant. Nothing beats a plate of broken rice and pork chops in the morning if you're not a fan of soupy dishes such as pho or hu tiu. By the way, it's totally normal to eat rice and pork chops in the morning for Vietnamese. Add a fried egg if you want to keep it American. Pork chops are tender. Fried shrimp cake is a must! Add it into your order no matter what combo of rice plates you order!
Warning: portion is big and worth your $20, so order at your own risk. Don't take home bc it doesn't taste good at home for unknown reasons.
Pho Ong Dia is its real name. The food is good and has big portion. Their price is so cheap compared all other Pho restaurants. Their service is quick too. The outdoor environment is very as tropical.
Stop for lunch with our big family and relatives.
Food was great, phở really flavorful, cơm tấm sườn chả chiên đặc biệt are excellent.
Unfortunately the table we are seating has so many ants 🐜… we told the server and they just doing nothing about, not even acknowledging it.
Absolutely exquisite! Had the Vermicelli and it was loaded with lots of veggies, which I loved!!
Large portions and very fair prices. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.
Side note: 3.75% service charge for non-cash payments.
This place reminds me of typical Vietnamese restaurants. Crowded, noisy customers, fast and non-stop moving servers. I’ve been out of my hometown for 3 years and really miss it.
The food here is top rated. Very delicious 🤤 if you’re a Southern Vietnamese, you cannot not love Com Tam 💕 this is a signature dish of the South of Vietnam, when Pho reigns in the North.
My husband and I both ordered Com Tam with different toppings. He has Shredded pork skin, Bbq pork chops, egg cake and a side sunny side up egg, while I had only Bbq pork chops and egg cake.
The broken rice smells good and tastes delicious, just like I remember. Bbq pork chops is salty, juicy and chewy, goes well with the rice while the egg cake is on the sweet side with soft texture.
The soup that serves as a side dish is chicken broth. Real chicken broth. Really sweet and flavorful. My son ate up both if our soup bowl.
They also have this ongoing drink promotion, Buy 1 get 1 free boba drinks. The drinks come from Pho Ong Dia next door, so I guess they are either partnered with each other or same owners.
Cơm Tấm Thiên Hương, the "Cơm Tấm" means broken rice. With that in the restaurant's name, we mostly ordered the rice dishes. My Viet friends were telling how broken rice used to be the left overs from milling the rice and is eaten by farmers. I could not notice any differences other than visually smaller grains. We had the combos, BBQ beef, pork and chicken $22 each with fried shrimp cake, shredded pork, egg cake and grilled shrimp. The food was good. Some of the BBQ pieces were too salty though. The fried shrimp cake was tasty. The other stuff was OK. Service was excellent.
Had the marinated beef platter and pho. This place is amazing. The food is abundant and pack with flavors. Two thumbs up!! Will keep coming back.
Always amazing food. Friendly service but try to go off peak time, otherwise there's a long wait and staff can give hurried service. Well worth the wait though. I recommend any of the rice-based dishes. They're what this restaurant is famous for.
They serve really yummy pho. Love the soup. The first time I have pho witou siracha and really enjoy it. Service was quick.
We order njmber 6 pho and porkchop with broken rice. The broken rice portion is pretty huge. Pho's price is very reasonable compared to other pho places. Broken rice plate is quite pricey, but it comes with many items. The soup for the broken rice is also good. It is nice stting outdoor.
This is the second pho restaurant that put 10% as an option for granularity. The other one is pho restaurant in sf. Other places put min 15% and other 18% min for options. Will come back and try different stuff. I really enjoy it.
