Raw oysters shots is worth trying. There's an extensive selection of sake. They play house music after dinner, the only one that stays late in Santana row if you're looking for a nice bar to go to
This my friends and my favorite restaurant! We love the music, food, drinks, and art! The service is great as well!! If the music is too loud go before 8:30 or 9:00 p. M. And you'll be fine.
I think that Blowfish Sushi is absolutely to die for-and Everyone should try their Ostrich! I know that Sushi is the main course but try it
Eat at the Bar. Earlier reviewers are right. The place is too loud to have a conversation at a table. Eat at the bar to escape the noise. The quality of the sushi and the decent sake list make Blowfish worth it. I recommend the sashimi-- the presention spews dry-ice smoke billowing out of a tall pile of crushed ice. And yes, it may be a little douchey, but I like the anime scenes projected on the wall.
Blowfish is good. Their fish is decent and they have GREAT rolls to choose from. Atmosphere is excellent and they play good music at night. It's not my favorite sushi place, but I come here very often. You can find better sushi, but its not as much fun.
Very nice place. My wife and I typically prefer a place that is well decorated, but low key, so we find ourselves sticking to before or after the main lunch hour. The food is great and the drink selection has the usual items and a few others that are fairly unique - their ginger mojito is awesome.
The waiters/waitresses are so friendly and nice! Twice I got free desert fir me and my friend on my birthday and one other time for a small celebration. The servers know what is good and are really helpful. The food is great and the ambience is really fun.
My favorite roll is the dragon roll, service is excellent. The ambiance is fantastic. Its a fun crowd, great scene for casual date night. Friday night is definitely the best night to go, especially if you like Sake bombs!
Loved being seated in the lounge area so beautiful. My server kris was awesome and the music was so perfect. I am a lover of sushi and this is the environment I want to be in while just enjoying some good sushi.
Not the place to go to on a budget or for a wide range of sushi/sashimi, but they do have some pretty good fancy rolls. The appetizers such as the eggplant in miso sauce are just as interesting and very good. Atmosphere wise, it's closer to that of a trendy bar than a traditional Japanese/Sushi restaurant.
Very nice for hanging out, chilling with friends. Unique style with sushi and drinks. I think the food taste ok. Not too great. I just like the atmosphere.
Great environment, great food, and great service. But if you want to have an important conversation, dinnertime here is not the time or place. On the expensive side for sushi, but the ambiance can't be beat.

Pyramid Of Tartar
a pyramid of fresh tuna, salmon & avocado with a side of honey tartar & sweet garlic ginger soy sauce - it completes me.
Wonderful experience overall. The food was relatively unique. A bit more adventurous cuisine than usual for me. Definitely recommend for those looking for something different.
