The place was clean and not crowded. The coffee was good and the burrito was big for the small price.
The roll was a little old and tasted hard. Everything else was good.

This coffee shop is one of my favorite parts of my weekday mornings. The staff has always been extremely pleasant and friendly, and the service quick and speedy - while still producing quality beverages. The food is pretty tasty as well!
I recommend the Lavender Latte - definitely a hit. Plus the whole bean roasts on the shelf are all great quality, organic, Fair Trade.
Further, as a ex-barista through my teens, it is always nice to see the younger generation working in the local coffee shop. Nothing teaches or builds community like meeting and dealing with people on a realistic 'I have only been up for 10 minutes' mental state.
So, thank you to all the staff, and thank you Curtis for keeping alive an entity that every community needs. You don't see people connect in a Starbucks like you ever will your local community Coffee Stop.
This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop, and a far cry from the pretentious, hipster shops that have cropped up in recent years. There's a woman that's always there, I assume she's THE Elva, and she is fantastic. Warm and friendly, she's quick with the drinks and makes sure you're enjoying them.
I've had the Mexican mocha, both hot and blended, and it is amazing. I've also purchased the dark roast whole beans for home use and those are also fantastic. And on the weekends, she serves menudo. Piping hot, with just the right amount of spice, and my favorite hang over cure. Be sure to get it on Saturday though, as she makes a batch for the weekend and it has been sold out before Sunday.
One of my new favorites on Lincoln Avenue! They make Bulletproof Coffee. Although, I always ask them to use heavy cream if possible. The butter will emulsify better in the coffee with the addition of heavy whipping cream. Their smoothies are quite delicious as well. A number of unusual offerings using ingredients like beets
Love the warmth & friendliness of this independent coffee shop!! From Mexican Mocha to bullet proof coffee to red bull smoothies, Elva's does not disappoint. If your lucky, Elva's mom is in there making homemade delights. Fast wifi doesn't hurt either. El Jefe approved!👍👍
Although there seems to be new ownership, Elva's is a local treasure! I love this place and have been going since Elva worked there. I recommend the Red Bull smoothie and the snickerdoodle iced latte!
Where can you find that gourmet breakfast in Willow Glen neighborhood? Elva's Coffee Stop grabbed my attention among other chain coffee joints near my Airbnb stay.
It's conveniently located at corner of Lincoln Avenue and Curtner Avenue is actually the beginning of Willow Glen neighborhood. I didn't have any parking issues. I guess I was there before crowd started to show up.
This restaurant is so adorable. I could spend hours looking at the nostalgic wall decorations.
I see they got lots of breakfast items like oatmeal, cookies, gourmet snacks and lots of breads besides coffee. I would stop for breakfast burrito and breakfast panini before it closes at 3 pm during weekdays.
A lot of places can't make a good cappuccino. This place CAN! I loved my cappuccino. And the coffee cake is amazing. Really happy I gave this place a shot.
I went there to get a redbull smoothie. I got the POG one and it was very good. I want to go back and try one of their many other flavors. customer service provided was very good also.
Best coffee around,very laid back, not frenetic like sb. Local owner operator. Really good breakfast burrito as well as gluten free items
