Grab & Go is California subs toasted and wrapped in delicious bread that is soft on the inside and flaky on the outside. The hot and spicy capy is my go to sandwich. Its relatively inexpensive for the area and always a good option for a quick lunch. Seating at this location is all outdoors and it can get warm in the summer. Its a good place to people watch at the end of Little Italy though.

I’ve only heard great things of Grab and Go and finally visited today. I had their hot roast beef and cheddar and it was exactly what I’ve wanted out of a sandwich.
It’s a perfect blend of veggies to meat and cheese and the BREAD is to DIE for.
Bread is baked fresh and has that crispy bite you’ll love.
Best sandwiches in Little Italy! Super friendly staff and owner. I work down the street and eat a sandwich from Grab N Go atleast 3 times a week for the last 3 years. They always remember me and know my order as im walking up. Hands down just an awesome place! Turkey, Ham and Cheddar for life!
Great place to go for a quick bite while sightseeing in Little Italy or on your way to the airport. Affordable prices and fresh tasting ingredients. The tuna and oatmeal cookies are great. Availability of (limited) parking is an added bonus.
Grab & Go subs was a quick stop for my brother and I before catching a flight. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The bread, which I'm extremely picky about, was fresh with just the right level of "toastiness". I'm a sucker for Pastrami so I decided to give their Hot Pastrami a try. WOW. The flavors found inside were everything you could ask for ! The Pastrami meat itself was fresh, salty, smoky and had Italian all over it. Washed it all down with a delicious Lemon San Pellegrino, and for a brief moment of my day, I felt as if I was sitting at an Italian eatery as authentic as it gets. Can't forget I had a bite of my brothers Tuna Swiss and remember nothing but deliciousness, location was superb and surprisingly they have parking as well! Thanks Grab &Go!
Best sandwiches ever!!!! Fresh bread just amazing service, food and atmosphere. The only problem was the seating arrangement it is outside and locked up. But all around great place.
Awesome subs. My buddy thinks the Italian sub is the best in the world. So good I ordered an extra to take home. Not too crowded like other places in the area.
One of the better grab and go subs in San Diego. I don't know why this one is better than the others, but it is. Order any sandwhich from the menu or grab a pre-made sub right on the counter. Note: they don't ruin their subs by putting mayo all over it.
Speaking of no may, try the Tunisa sandwich. it's a tuna sandwich made with vinegar and olive oil instead of mayo. So much better that way.
I eat here all the time. The quality is always great. The staff is super friendly. If you are hungry for a great sandwich, this is your place.
