first time here, and was welcomed with great customer service from the owner. trixie served us and from the start, she was amazing! friendly, informative, and just had a positive vibe. my fiancé and i are vegans and this is by far the BEST shabu shabu in SD, vegan or not! quality food!
The place is small but cute. The waitress is a sweet young lady. Was very courteous and helpful. My sister and I enjoyed our vegetarian soups very much. I suggest you to use Groupon to get a good deal. I definitely will go back!
The Best Shabu ever. Awesome place for some great food. The Samauri Prime beef is best.
We didn't know what to expect which is a great way to start an adventure. We left really full and satisfied. It was a wonderful experience. Would be 5 stars if not for a couple items:
- color menu with pics is needed
- have sriracha and a complement of hot condiments
- don't charge an extra $2 because I want my soup spicy. That's kind of not cool.
First off I love Shabu Shabu; grew up eating it and grew to love the food more and more as I try different toppings and flavors! This place first hand is neat and clean very freindly place and nice servers! Even though they asked me if it was my first time being there they were happy enough to guide me again and show us how to properly eat and add toppings for more enjoyable experience!
The food was great! Very delicious and flavorful! The fact that they suggest what goes with what and adding those tiny flavors add more taste to the food! I'd definitely comeback here l! It's well worth it!!

This is a great place for lunch. They give you a big meal of some meat and also noodes to eat with your broth when you're finished cooking the meat (to make sure none of the meal goes to waste--what a great idea!). The lady who is normally there is very nice and always remember her customers. Each of the staff is always helpful when cooking your meal.
I love the different varieties of broths they offer. I have been to other Shabu Shabu places and thought they will be all the same. I always end up comparing it to this place and Regretting not coming here instead.
Nice experience. No where as good as what we had in Japan. It would deserve 5stars if the quality of the meats is better. Still a great experience for the whole family to enjoy together.
The food was very delicious and the owner and his wife personally helped us with our first time having shabu shabu. It was a great experience that more people definitely don’t want to miss out on!
