Probably would have never walked in the spot because personally, I do like planning what restaurants to visit prior, mostly reading reviews and checking out their menu but we literally pulled up and walked right in.. I would’ve loved to sit outside but it was a bit breezy for our party so we opt for an indoor table which was perfectly situated in the middle. The breeze helped with the heat, our server was very patient with us since we had someone in our party who couldn’t make up their mind. We finally decided on sharing everything…
Margherita Pizza 5/5 came out hot, delish – took some home and made it extra crispy!
Calamari 5/5 loved that fried zucchini was mixed in.
Lobster Ravioli – 5/5 Didn’t get to try it but everyone that tried it said they loved the mushroom sauce
Highly recommend this place!
Michelangelo Is a great pizza artisan and a kind person. The menu respects totally the Italian tradition from the pasta to the bread, from the starters tò the pasta. Excellent pizza, great bruschetta, the typical italian cordiality and above all 100% italian products. If you want tò taste the real italian flavour you must absolutely go over there. Michelangelo sempre forza Napoli. 🩵
The food and drink I ordered was delicious! I ordered the prosciutto and burrata for appetizer. My entree was fettuccine piemontesi and a pomegranate mojito drink (can’t remember the name). The entire staff was very polite and I had interactions with the hostess, bus boy and my waitress. The food came out fast and fresh! Also, it was just me and the restaurant let me sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Some of the other places I wanted to eat at wouldn’t sit me outside because I was by myself.
Overall, great food, amazing environment and wonderful staff!
We were walking by when an elderly gentleman sitting at the patio recommended this place. He said the marinara is to die for. And.... He was right! The food is amazing. The fettuccine checa sauce was so flavourful. We ordered the India st. Pizza along with that. Both were lovely! Highly recommend this place!
Great place. Their margarita pizza is amazing. It’s a true margarita pizza. The service is great. Some of my favorite pizza in San Diego.
Had the four cheese penne pasta, margarita pizza, pepperoni pizza, lobster ravioli, and some goodies from the bakery. Everyone enjoyed their food if we can make it back will get the pizza! In little Italy San Diego. Beautiful area with nice outdoor and indoor seating area. Lots of amazing options in the bakery.
Stopped in for a mid-afternoon pick me up with two friends. My cafe au lait was perfect and I had the best amaretto almond cookie ever. Friendly barista and welcoming host at the door. Indoor and outdoor seating available as well as a full lunch and dinner menu.
Had a wonderful dinner. Ths water and warm bread with a very flavorful tomatoe based dipping sauce arrived as soon as we sat down.
Appetizer was pizza dough that was rolled with prosciutto and shaved parmesan, greens and slice of tomato whith a light delicious dressing. I had the lobster ravioli with mushrooms and cream sauce, It was a perfect amount not as heavy as I feared. Husband had the fettuccine gamberi, shrimp and mushrooms with a light cream sauce. We had enough room to try the small canoli and took a rum baba and pistachio cream horn to the hotel for later.
Didn't get our servers name but he provided great service and glad I took the recommendation of the lobster ravioli as it was very good, not overly seafoody..
You can't go wrong stopping in here.
We loved the atmosphere and our happy hour drinks with the generous food portions. The staff was extremely welcoming and it was our first time in Little Italy since the pandemic began.
Best thing about this place is my sugar remained low after into the evening.
The pasta with shrimp was so good! But not the carbonara pasta 🥺 really cute restaurant and great location in little Italy 🇮🇹
