I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Creamistry. I love ice cream but it doesn't always like me. I actually had a great ice cream experience. This concept is new to me as San Diego is to me....and I must say, I'm loving it!!! Can't wait to visit again!!
Loved selecting an alternative to dairy and still having many flavor options. The dramatic fun of preparation will entertain almost anyone, but the creamy, deliciousness will satisfy whatever your sweet-tooth is desiring. The coconut based Nutella flavor was mild and next time, I will opt for Nutella topping with almonds. I loved that it was the perfect balance of sweet creaminess without cloying sugar bombing. My husband selected a traditional cream-based cookies and cream with pecans. The lovely result was silky and precisely balanced in flavor, generous in the mix-ins and a perfect pleasure. We'll be back. Oh yes. We will be back.
Love the atmosphere! They could do better on their customer service skills when ordering but they are friendly. I can't wait to take my friends here to surprise them. I heard of you order a double shot of frozen, your ice cream will stay frozen for longer. Now if they were right hook up with Ubereats, that would be the best thing ever!
One of the coolest ice cream places I've ever been to!!! They literally make your ice cream to order. You get to pick what kind of milk, what flavor and what topping. They put it all together and make the ice cream right before your eyes!! A+++!!
They're Ice Cream is soooo creamy and smooth! I fell in love with it from the moment it touched my tongue. And funnily enough, I'm not even a big fan of ice cream but I ate everything. Lol. A friend told me that I should try this and he described it as "think of the best ice cream you've tasted and multiply that by 3" and he was right. No BS. I had the mint with Oreo. I usually don't like mint but my hubby does, so that's what I bought. It's mostly for him. But damn. I ate most of it. Apparently I haven't tasted a proper ice cream before. But yes! I definitely recommend.
The latest ice cream fad where you start off with a liquid base and then add flavor to this base and various toppings that are then frozen with regulated liquid nitrogen. Fun to watch the first time. Great taste if you get the right combo for your tastebuds. Ice cream doesn't melt as quickly like other ice cream parlors (I.e. Coldstone)...I drove back to work after buying my ice cream and the 15 min drive barely caused any melting of my ice cream which was amazing to me! You get a free waffle cone if you order a large. I prefer the Premium base for the creamiest texture. I liked the following combos with the Premium base: Captain Crunch with Strawberries, Black Sesame (requested extra so she did 1-1/2 of the liquid flavor) with mochi on top, Cookies & Cream (they make their own Oreo mix so stays crunchy!) mixed with brownie bites, Cinnamon Toast Crunch with Nutella mixed in. All were delicious! It is rather expensive and additional toppings are $1-$1.50 each extra, thus the one star dock.

I loved the concept of how they make their ice cream. I'm giving a 4 because my order was not completed to what I asked for. I was given scoop of the flavor I asked for but I ordered nitroshake pistachio. I didn't say anything because it matched receipt. I DID surely enjoy my created ice cream pistachio. Pistachio nuts must have been ground up like dust to make the creamy smooth flavor engulf the senses with pistachio.
We got the cookies and cream with banana and Nutella with whip cream on top. Overall it was worth making your own but the small and large sizes are over priced.
The ice cream is good and the workers are not slow, but the whole process takes time so definitely ask how long the wait is before ordering. I once waited an hour for a single ice cream, pre-made combination without customisations. They tend to continue taking orders when they're too backed up to actually make them.
Liquid nitrogen make in your face ice cream! Cool concept.
Expensive for a regular basic scoop, no toppings = $5.95 (pretax). Got the thai tea and it was on the sweeter side but really creamy since my base was the classic. Kinda felt weird after a couple bites.
They have a dairy free base for +$1 and sorbet or organic. Many toppings to choose from. Can create your own or choose from their menu! Would personally never come here again because its not worth it but was a great experience for the kids. Lots of parking in plaza and expect lots of banging and it being loud because things get thrown all over the place. Even though there are only 5 people in line, gets extremely crowded given the size and set up of store.
When I got there the line was long but it moved almost too fast. If you've never been before you'll need a minute to look at the menu. You can get pretty much whatever flavor you want so its good.
Delicious! Fully customizable desserts. Pick your base, mix-ins, and toppings, and watch as your interviews go from several containers to the mixing bowl to be blended and frozen into something amazing.
