There was a time when Which Wich had this awesome system where you could actually build the sandwich you wanted. Grinder with a whole buncha options? No problem! Weird Elvis inspired peanut butter and turkey sandwich? If that’s what you’re into… And for the Wichers that wanted to share their experience, you could draw on the bag.
But now you get this unfriendly, uninspired tablet that does not allow you to custom your sandwich unless you choose a basic BYO with no way to recreate the sandwich you loved.
Sorry Which Wich… you’ve lost the way.
The sandwiches here are super tasty. I wish they had this place closer to where I live. My only complaint is that there was only one person on staff at the time there, so it ended up taking us a good half an hour to get some simple sandwiches made. He was super friendly and very apologetic about it, and the sandwiches definitely still tasted good, but that totally sucked that he was alone.
Friendly staff and great sandwiches! Being from out of town I wasn't sure how to order at first. Look at the board for what you want, grab a bag with the number of the protein you want then mark it up with all the addons you need! Great sandwich and fair price for the size. The bread was good and the amount of food you get was enough to fill me.
Would eat here agian!
Stopped by on a whim after watching Super Mario Bros and the movie theater next door. Super friendly customers and guy behind the counter. And to top it off, a tasty sandwich! John Wick 5 should film there, or at least cater!!!!
It's really close to the movie theater so we like to go there and stock up before we go to the movies
We were driving around San Diego after picking up our exchange student, looking for a place to eat.
We pull up to Which Wich and open the door. Carlos and Davian are behind the counter when I ask what time they close.
Carlos said 8:30pm was the closing time and we arrived at 8:29pm. He and Davian welcomed us to come in anyways. They helped us with our order and were incredibly warm and patient with us.
Not only were the sandwiches Davian made delicious, the reception, generosity, and helpfulness is what I'm giving 5 stars for.
Thanks for being so awesome Carlos and Davian! The world would be incredible if more people like you were around.
The sandwiches are amazing! Its my favourite spot. The vegeterian version with avocado tastes 👌🏻👌🏻.
It is tough to write a review about a chain restaurant other than talking about the bad service.
I came to this shop while on a family vacation for the first time. I really liked it, the design was different and enjoyed it. It was different. It is a bit more expensive than Subway and much better quality ingredient. The price was average at about $6-7 for each sandwich. The place was very clean, the staff was nice, and quick service. It was just difficult to eat there because it was so small. I had my daughter with me and a stroller. Other than that it was really good and I would go back.
Nice portions & packed with lots of delicious ingredients. Kind of expensive for a sandwich shop, but it IS located in a Mall. Go on Wednesday for their daily special!
