Best Japanese bbq in San Diego! Must try! Meat is sooo fresh. Love the short rib, beef tongue, pork cheek, outside skirt. Mushroom is also good. Kimchi fried rice is a MUST TRY! Service also great.

Very delicious kobe beef, beef tartare and miso pork belly. Staff are very nice and friendly. They even treated me a free ice cream dessert and offered me a birthday song because they saw my birthday pin. Will come back again!
Was craving some Japanese bbq and found this spot. The meat is so fresh and so good! The marbling on the cube and the bite after being grilled was perfect! The staffs were so nice asking if we need to change our grill. Unfortunately they were out of a few things we wanted cause we arrived at 8:30. I do believe they close at 10. I want to come back to try the wagyu. Definitely a good date spot to go to. It is on the pricier side though so keep that in mind. But highly recommend if you’re looking for a good Japanese bbq!
Called in to see if they had seating available for 2 and gave me a 840pm reservation. Food was so delicious and they had a special on wagyu beef sampler. Must try if you love Japanese BBQ.
Its been a few years since I was last here and I still dream of the amazing meals I have had here! The high quality beef choices especially just melt in your mouth. The services always top tier, and the wait is absolutely worth every minute!
It’s a nice spot for DIY grilling. The kimchi was my favorite. The high quality of food and fresh ingredients made it really enjoyable!
Only problem, it wasn't posted or was I told that a 23% was automatically added to the bill. I thought a 25 dollar tip was appropriate for a 195 dollar bill I wasn't informed that a 32 dollar tip was added to the bill.
Great taste! Kobe gold is super good. Melt in mouth. Worth a try!
But be aware of the high price. Kobe beef is expensive!!
