Had an enjoyable dinner here tonight. This was our second time at this Capparelli's location. Service is consistently friendly and it was clear the team was working very hard on a busy night. Atmosphere was nice, and everything appeared clean and welcoming. Definitely appears to be a local gathering spot for friends and families, so that is nice to see in a world full of big chain restaurants. We had the lasagna, and it was very good. The only thing we would have liked is perhaps a bit more spice in the sauce. Tastes vary greatly, obviously, but just a tad more kick would have been good.
The salad was good, but had a lot of the white ribs of the leaves, so not as enjoyable. Garlic bread comes with the meal as well, but didn't have much garlic and not enough butter in addition to being a bit overcooked. Iced tea was clear (thank you), but tasted a bit on the weak side. Overall, not a bad experience at all. A couple of tweaks here and there would make it even better.
This place was a surprise! First off great staff, friendly and very attentive. Tried something different and was very happy. Great service, great food and overall great atmosphere!
Would recommend for casual dining Italian cuisine.
My favorite Capparelli's location by far. Reminds me of the old location out on Evers Rd back in the day. I've had the spaghetti, pizza, manicotti, and lasagna. All entrees are very very good. The garlic bread and the super tasty salad during lunch are a major bonus. The restaurant is very nice and the staff is friendly. Highly Recommended!!!
My wife and I ate here on a Tuesday afternoon. There was a very light crowd. The main dining room was closed. There was only one guy waiting the tables and running the cashiers. He did an admirable job considering. We were served bread and salad to begin with. The bread had garlic butter on a toasted hoagie bun. The salad was excellent. My wife ordered lasagna and I ordered eggplant parmesan with rigatoni. All were good. The eggplant was very good. Took a little longer than I expected to get our dinner, but not unreasonably so. All in all, a pleasant experience.
First visit, quaint and not so busy.
Tried triple sampler (lasagna, chicken parmesan, and Alfredo. Was good, garlic bread n side salad ok. The main dishes did have a resemblance of a restaurant. Piccolo's, now closed. It was located on Evers Rd. One of my favorite regular places to frequent. I'll probably eat here again.
great service highly recommended the chicken Parmesan with the Fettuccine Alfredo .garlic bread is so good small place great food. Came back again and tried the lunch Special pizza the deluxe which was the pepperoni salami mushrooms was really good I was surprised the italian Submarine is my favorite so far
With the exception of some minor issues. Had a great experience. My server was Isaac and he knew when to approach me regarding my meal. Excellent timing on drink/app/entree times. Garlic bread could've used a little more garlic. But that's just a nitpick. Lasagne was decent. All in all. A great bang for buck experience with friendly staff. Will recommend and come back.
Their pizzas used to be unique and made them stand out from the crowd. Crust around the edge was very thin and cheese covered the entire surface of the pizza.
Now they've made changes and their pizzas are pretty ordinary. About 3/4 of an inch of crust and scattered cheese across the top.
I wish they would go back to the old way even if the cost more for the consumer.
It was my first time eating here. I went in for lunch and ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich. It comes with a salad, potato chips and an iced tea. I felt the sandwich needed a little more sauce and cheese and the bread tasted slightly old. It didn't taste bad, it just wasn't outstanding. I will probably go back to Capparelli's and maybe try another dish.
Always great service and delicious food. 😋 went again to my fav spot and tried the chicken alfredo another yummy dish my son had spaghetti noodles with butter and garlic. We will be back again A+
