Mario's Bakery is really a place to cheer you up on a dreary day or any day. Everything is baked fresh daily, and staff is super welcoming. Could not ask for anything more🥰
This place is legit. I grabbed a sampler of my favorites and yeah… it was well worth the trip. Prices aren’t crazy and the pan dulce is flavorful without being gross. If you are new to SA and need a spot for that comfort food snack -go here.

Stopped by here after I found them on Google Maps. Looking for a Mexican bakery near where I was. They had a lot of good ratings and comments so I decided I would give them a try as well. These pastries were delicious they had a really great assortment, they had some things that I haven't seen in awhile since my childhood. These are the kind of "Pan De dulce" you would pick up when you visited family and friends. Super kind counter help. Very helpful. May have just become my new bakery. And they make a marranito that wants desperately to swim in your milk and then in your belly!

Cute and humble are some of the best places to get your fix of hunger. The 1st thing you notice when you walk in is the smell. It hits you like a breath of fresh air. The childhood smell and then to see all thing cakes, cookies, sweet breads, and more. It is filled with plenty to choose from and you could tell it's fresh. The lady who helped me was nice and fast. I decided to stay sample today but I can't wait to go back.
I bought pan dulce here for my students and colleagues. Everyone loved the desserts! Well worth the trip.

Yum, my family was visiting from our of state and we were referred to Mario's Bakery for pan dulce. We were not disappointed. This place has a delicious assortment of everything. My favorites are conchas and marranitos my mom loved the pink heart galletas. So much in fact she has me send them back to AZ for her. (Sorry for the glare in the pic)
