This place had the feel of cleanliness. I was welcomed with a bright smile from the host/waitress, Hannah. She was very lively and full of positivity. I had a lot of homework and decided to see if I could get comfortable and do my homework there after I eat. Next thing you know I was there for a few hours knocking out an essay and a bunch of quizzes. The seats are so comfortable. I give this place Five Stars and Hannah 100 stars.
Pleasant staff and my breakfast was delicious.
Although the place was greatly understaffed, the service was as diligent as possible. The food is traditional American breakfast where one of the most important thing us that it is fresh and warm. Both checked. We’re going back soon.
Because Jim's has earned it's place in our hearts as a place to enjoy good food and hospitality, I want to give praise to it's staff and management. I do however want to suggest a well needed remodeling. This ceiling tiles are disgusting to look at and the carpet Looks like it has seen more traffic than grand central station. Nevertheless the food was delicious and served hot. Still highly recommend. (3 months later edit:) still needs updated ceiling tiles and carpet, but wanted to give kudos to our waiter Christopher. He may have been the manager by his dress, but he was exceptionally courteous and friendly.
It was our first experience at Jim’s and it couldn’t have been better. Cindy our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Food was delicious and homey. Great visit.
I'm very impressed with this resturant. I was seated quickly, the food was great and my waitress Erika was very attentive and polite. This is my new favorite American style restuant.
I had one of the best grilled cheeses I’ve ever had (and told the chef who made it)! Our waiter was very kind and accurate. My husband loved his chicken fried steak and we overall had a delicious meal. Just a tip, always get a side of ranch. It’s the best. Thank you!
Typical American diner, the food isn't anything particularly special, but it's got a special place in my heart for nostalgic reasons. Would I recommend it? Not really. Have I made many long-term family memories there? Yeah, man. It means something.
I love the food love the place, table we could have been a little clean I was a little sticky up besides that great price and great food.
First time at a Jim's Restaurant. Seemed like a splice between a Denny's and Waffle House. Nice seeing that the waiters and waitress knew some of their customers by name. It was cute to see how little impromptu events would occur with the same group of people. Cute in the fact that the servers knew and expected the group, but the people would act as though they did not expect the gathering to occur after church.
My single con is that the menu tended to be set up more as an a la carte. Either I had to individually order pancakes and a side, or I had to choose a huge plate that came with too much food.
There needs to be an adult kid's option for people who love food, but don't strive to weigh 5 pounds from eating one meal.
