Great place for Italian! The pizza is awesome, the fettuccini, the spaghetti, the lasagna...mmmmmmm! We've come to this place for years and it still impresses me! I think the only negative thing about the food are the croutons in the salads! Soggy and soft instead of crunchy and toasty! Other than that, the food is usually spot on!
For a small hole in the wall place. It is what it says a mom and pop place. The food was awesome we were not really hungry but want something besides burgers. The service was good, food was hot, and staff was polite.
Just had a great lunch here, they really piled the toppings on the food and the sauces have a lot of flavor, I would recommend you try Main Street Pizza.
Consistently delicious. Not top notch quality, but quite good. Pizza is recommended. The chicken lasag can have tough chicken parts. Focaccia is good. Standard salads. 3/5 overall.
My second experience at Main St.. Both times I ate at Main St., I had the meat lasagna. It was good, but I've had better in town. I give it a 7 out of 10. The first time I triied it, it was good but too seasoned.
The restaurant is somewhat small, friendly, and family- owned feeling.
The pizzas, sandwiches, and chicken parmesan I saw looked good too.
The price was reasonable, especially since, the lasagna comes with a salad.

It's a nice pizza joint located on main street behind sac. Really chill laid back spot. The pizza is solid, nothing stands out to much, however for the price it's worth it. A personal pizza plus a drink will run you 8 bucks so I say that's pretty good. Worth traveling to? I wouldnt recommend doing so, but if you live around the area, hitting the strip or going to sac, it's a great place to eat at.
Excellent pizza! Thin crust, just the right amount of sauce,cheese & toppings! Perfect crispy crust and the prices were very reasonable! I'd definitely come back! A must if you're near metro Methodist hospital or sac
A Near Campus Delight. The food is tasty, inexpensive and well portioned. Well worth the visit and best with friends.
Good and Cheap.. If you want good and cheap Italian food, then Main Street Pizza & Pasta is the place to go. Everything is tasty.

This was my first visit here, yesterday (Nov. 15, 2023). It is a quaint looking atmosphere with a good amount of room to seat and enjoy your meal. I ordered the special of that day; which was the Stromboli and side salad. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo as well as an appetizer of garlic bread. The gentleman that took our order was warm hearted and very friendly.
The small salad had crisp fresh greens, thin peeled lettuce, and bread cubes. We got ranch sauce and all combined it was delicious and rather filling. The Stromboli had great flavor even without dipping it into the marinara sauce. It was nice and hot where I managed to get a decent cheese pull. The outer crust was the right amount of crunch.
The chicken fettuccine alfredo, was rich and delicious. The chicken was tender. The fettuccine sauce tasted perfect. Had a great amount of spices and butter (not too buttery).
The garlic bread slices were lightly garlic buttered. The texture of the bread was just right.
The only thing that made us feel a tiny bit uncomfortable was the gentleman who cleans the tables. We felt a bit rushed because he came to our table multiple times to see if he could take our plates. Which we understand but just felt weird that he only did that with us. Its okay we had food for later since we decided to just pretend we were done. With that said, we do appreciate his dedication and how well he kept the place tidy and ready for newcomers.
We will definitely be back to try out other dishes. Thank you for the great service.

They know what they’re doing. The past could use more flavor but overall not bad. The garlic bread is really thick, almost like a loaf but good taste (could use some cheese though). The pizza was amazing, almost TMNT level. It had a good ratio of everything. Honestly will go back.

For the first time there I really enjoyed the food. It has a warm atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable for the big servings you get. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!
Highly recommend, bread is fresh searches in parchment paper so nobody is touching the food your about to put in your mouth. The mozzarella is soft and actually so warm, the chicken is thin and seasoned to perfection. I had dine in and service was amazing.. I’ll be coming back for sure.
Great little place in the middle of San Antonio! SO and I were looking for some pre-marathon food but did not want to go to one of those $$$$ overrated places so after doing our usual Google search found this spot. It was perfect! Food was delicious (spaghetti marinara with shrimp, salad, garlic bread, and a drink), the ambiance was cozy and relaxed, and prices were perfect. Will definitely add it to our faves list. I had spaghetti with grilled sausage! It was crazy good. I was expecting a link of sausage but it was loose and crumbly all over the pasta. The free focaccia was made fresh and was so tasty. I ate it all so quickly it’s so ugly to take a photo! What a good deal😌

Been coming here for years, around 2011 was my first time. It's also been a few years since I've been by but i was in the area looking for pizza and shot straight over! Still as good as I remembered :)

My fiancee had been here previously, but I had not. She insisted it was great and she was correct. We shared the pizza special of one 9in pizza, a salad, and a drink but also ordered fried calamari.
Everything was delicious. The calamari was hot and fresh. The breading/batter was crispy and flavorful. To add to that, the homemade marinara it came with was hearty and had just enough additional flavor so as to not drown out the tomato base.
Our pizza was hot and fresh as well. Even though it was a simple pepperoni pizza, it packed quite the taste. The cheese was melted just right, the crust was crispy and not too rough, and there was the right amount of sauce on the pie.
Overall, I highly recommend Main Street Pizza and hope to come back so as to try the stromboli and other dishes.
