This is my second favorite vietnamese restaurant. Ive been coming here for decades now. I love everything I've ever ordered here. Including their vegetarian dishes. I particularly go to Shanghai for their soups. They are not pho. They have other soups that are so amazing. And after trying many a spring rolls...these are still my favorites. The food quality and taste is consistently on point. It's pretty quick service too. And the prices are very good. We used to eat here twice a week at least.

Loved this place! The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious with plenty of vegan options (listed under the veggie section of the menu). The food is cheap (like $7-10/plate depending on what you get) and made it from the kitchen to our table within 10 minutes. They have tv's displaying the food they serve so you have a better idea of what's on the menu which I thought was a really creative idea. They don't rip you off with proportions either, we left with plenty of leftovers! Hot/iced tea is free! Loved the atmosphere, the food, and above all the staff! I can see why this place is a local favorite. Highly recommend! We will be back!
I love the food at Shanghai Cafe. The vegetarian Vietnamese fried egg roll is *chef's kiss* the tofu lettuce wraps are really good too. The sweet and sour chicken is excellent. Everything can be made vegetarian which is awesome. It's too bad they don't deliver or use a delivery service (dine in or pickup only) or I'd order more often.
Great place to take a group with lots of different preferences. Incredible vegetarian selection! Their orange sauce is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I also really love the unique flavors of the sauce in the lettuce wraps dish. All in all, really great selection and flavors. Thank you to the owners and staff, you have made a wonderful gem of a place.
