I Doordashed from Sono 3 days in a row! My usual order is the shrimp teriyaki bowl with lo-mein. However, on this particular day I was starving bordering on hangry. I ordered shrimp teriyaki box with lo-mein, sesame balls, and cream cheese rangoons. The shrimp teriyaki box included veggies but there is an extra $1 charge for adding lo-mein or fried rice. I prefer Sono’s teriyaki over others because it’s not as sweet. The portion was also large enough I was able to save half for a later meal. I actually quite like their sesame balls and cream cheese rangoons because they’re not oily. The sesame balls are red bean filled with a little crunch on the outside. Meanwhile, the cream cheese rangoons were the usual cream cheese filled wonton wrappers. However, they still made for a tasty snack. I’ve not had any issues with service, food packaging, or food preparation with this establishment. Their fare isn’t gourmet but they do things right which is good enough for me.

Simple, tasty food. Service is always great! Tried the chicken kabob and potstickers this time. Potstickers were perfect but the kabob was pretty spicy.

This place is excellent. Before this place changed owners it used to be a decent sushi restaurant. Once this place changed hands in the Summer of 2017, it underwent an incredible transformation. This place serves some of the best teriyaki grill food in the area, at unbelievably affordable prices with generous quantities of food. They have chicken, beef, and shrimp combos cooked fresh off the grill with choices of fried rice, steamed rice, or chow mein, and each of these items are cooked from scratch and not prepackaged garbage like panda express. Additionally, they have incredible chicken and lamb kebabs if you're needing a little extra meat in your meal for just a few dollars. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving fresh, affordable, and delicious Asian food.

The new Sono is much improved over the menu and management from a few years ago. Plentiful stir fry with tasty proteins prepared fresh to order. Optional fried rice is worth the extra dollar. Food is sugary sweet but in a good way. Portions are two solid meals at least. Meal is ten bucks. Can of soda is an even dollar. I will return.

Had a late night review session on the U's campus, and I live off campus. Nothing was open past five on campus, and this place was open past 6, a short walk from campus, so I went for it. Food was awesome, taste fresh and better than Panda Express. Have been coming for lunch or dinner anytime I'm on campus with no food.

This place is great! My girlfriend and I were craving sushi burrito's but our (formerly) favorite place, "Sushi Burrito on 2nd" was closed. We took a chance with this place as it was so close to campus and open fairly late for a sushi restaurant. This is now our favorite sushi-burrito spot! The environment is chilled and is inviting but not extravagant or try-hard which is nice.

They really mean fast in this express. The menu only has about two dozen options and this will help you get in and out pretty quick. Being right next to a college campus, the prices cannot be beat. Also the location is better suit for take out due to the limited space and I can see thos place getting full for lunch (I went for some dinner).

Great food for the price, delicious and relatively large portions, and cooked fresh with a decent wait time. Keep in mind that the location is a bit bare-bones with no real table service, which is understandable with the affordable price and the lack of tipping.
