This place is legit Thai food, the staff working there are Thai and know their stuff. The restaurant is nestled in the back corner of the Asian market. I ordered the drunken noodle with beef at spice level 3 and a Thai ice tea to cool the spice. Delicious and Authentic. Recommended.
One of the best Thai restaurants in SLC, it lives upto it's name by offering extremely spicy yet delicious Thai food. The food here is cheap but very good. The lunch special offers a choice of two dishes served along with salad, spring roll and Jasmine rice. The Thai coffee I ordered was awesome as was the sweet sticky rice my friends ordered. The place is very small (won't suggest groups larger than 8) and located inside the Ocean Market. The service was very good and there is rarely any wait time. (Also, if you can't eat too much spicy food, don't go beyond spice level 2. If you love spicy food, order level 3-4. Level 5 is only for red chilli afficianados).
First time going here and it was good! I got the red curry and really liked it. The vegetables weren't overcooked and mushy which often happens, and there was lots of flavor. Would definitely go back and try more to things!
Great hole in the wall restaurant. Low prices and the food was phenomenal! Definitely recommend, order chicken green curry and store stir fry.
I have been here many, many times, and have never been disappointed. The food is very fresh, crazy flavorful, authentic, affordable, and SO DAMN GOOD! Hidden away in the back of my favorite Asian Market, the atmosphere is just charming. Plus, I can pick up an Aloe drink on the way out (would also recommend)! I take all of my Thai-loving friends and family here and they all agree it is the best.
This restaurant is hidden inside a supermarket that sells great food from mostly China. The restaurant is all the way in the back and rather small. Don't expect a fancy setting. Walk in and enjoy some of the best Thai food I had in a while. Th ingredients are all super fresh and their meat is nicely tender. In fact, you get a lot of meat. Their lunch combo is a great deal since you basically get two dishes for the price of one. I love their green curry chicken and their broccoli with prawns. The broccoli is so fresh and not over cooked. The seasoning is on point and you can tell that they go low on sale and skip artificial ingredients. Be careful though which spicy level you choose. Their scale goes from 0 till 5. I ordered 2 which was already quite spicy. They also offer take out and sometimes delivery. Great place for some really authentic, fresh and down to earth Thai food.
If you can get past the fishy smell of the attached grocery store, this tiny restaurant has some delicious and authentic Thai food! As a person who's spent months in Southeast Asia, I was impressed by the food and prices of this place. It's truly a hidden gem, as it took me a couple of tries to actually find it. You can get it to stay or go, the service is a bit slow, but let's be honest, if you're going to a restaurant inside of a grocery store, you shouldn't be expecting 5 star service. Everyone is kind and I left satisfied with a curiosity for what the rest of the dishes on the menu taste like!
It's a little confusing, the restaurant is in the back of the grocery store. But... The food is incredible. It's a nice space for conversation. Not too noisy, which I really enjoyed as too much background noise makes it hard for me to enjoy the person I'm talking to. Would have given it five stars if the surroundings were a little more lush. It was just a little on the Spartan side but the food was worth it!
Amazing little hole in the wall restaurant inside the grocery store. Totally worth going. Food is exceptional and in large portions! It was one of the few places open on the Sunday I was in salt Lake and I highly encourage you to go. Fantastic spot. As a group we had most items from the menu and all were amazing.
Small place in the back of the market, not the fanciest environment but the food is amazing. I tried the massaman with tofu. Delicious. Excited to try more dishes. Perhaps my new favorite Thai food place. And on the way out after eating you can stock up on Asian goodies and tasty candy treats and matcha tea 🍵
