Great place for Middle Eastern, European and south Asian groceries. The owner is extremely kind, the staff provide great service. I always come here for the fresh meat, cheese, and breads. They have a wide selection of spices, seasonings, pickled vegetables and snacks. Also have all the essential lentils, beans and basmati rice. Lots of vegetarian and healthy food options.
Excellent option to eat something different, healthy and above all well prepared. The mixed plate (photo) and the lamb meat are recommended. The attention was very good, they are very friendly and fast in the service, delicious food, highly recommended.
Everything tasted amazing. The meat was moist and flavorful, the rice was delicious, and every person we encountered in the restaurant and store was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place.
First ever time in Salt Lake city. Someone suggested me to try this place and it was a 100% worth it. Food was amazing. I ordered one of all types of skewers, never miss the grilled tomato. Their bread is also very good. Prices are less than expected. And in the grocery section the quality and variety of fresh meats is wonderful

Phenomenal! I had the Double Tawouk, vegetable appetizer sampler, and the house made yogurt drink. It was all top-tier, definitely worth a visit.
The restaurant is a hidden gem tucked away in the back of the market. The simple dining atmosphere and the flavorful Middle Eastern food was definitely worth the visit. The tender grape leaves and the smokey hummus made for great appetizers, followed by spice-packed beef and chicken over a bed of fluffy rice. I’m still left wondering how the meats tasted so juicy.
I absolutely loved the food at Shahrazad! I ordered the Turkish coffee and the number 5 (mixed Kabab). This was my first time eating here, and I will keep coming back! The beef kabab was very tender, and the chicken kabab had a great flavor. The portions were large, but my whole body felt good after eating. The food did not feel heavy on my stomach. Also, the market has so many fantastic items. I was getting lost looking at everything! I bought these two types of sodas, which tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and ensured I was cared for throughout my whole experience. I recommend this place over and over again.
4.5⭐️ Ordered through Doordash, I enjoyed their food. I got the Double Taouk platter & Mixed kebab. I didn’t care for the ground beef. I do like the chicken. Good size serving for the price. Their tabbouleh is a little bland but good enough. I recommend this place. You should give it a try. 👍🏻
Had beef shawarma platter and lamb skewers. The platter included rice and salad. The rice was too delicious. The portions were filling. And the ambience added to the experience. The market attached with the place had so many things to offer. In all, a really great experience.
