Great place to eat. Service is wonderful and the food is amazing. We go there every year when we visit and the place never changes. It's always busy and always worth the wait.
It was awesome service we got our food in a great timely manner and enjoyed every bite......
Very cool spot, feels like a home kitchen! The people are very friendly, portions are large, however, it didn’t taste very authentic Mexican food.
Recommended if you want to fill your tummy with some comfort food.
Our waitress was new but very nice. I had the Chicken Burrito without beans and rice... yummy! The fajitas chicken was so tender it was delicious! The hibiscus drink was great!
100/10 food is amazing! Very authentic. Big portions and fair prices for how much food you get! Amazing customer service! They gave us chips and salsa and the salsa is so good a kick of spice but full of flavor! Smaller business but you won’t regret it! I got 2 enchiladas with a taco. Very tasty!
Nico's is definitely worth a visit if you love more authentic Mexican food. The flavors are good and there are a lot of options. I got the carne asada plate, while those with me got a taco special (5 tacos) and enchiladas de jabañero and mole. Overall, all of the food was delicious. Their green salsa was especially tasty. I'll definitely pay it another visit soon.
We had a delicious lunch at Nico’s. It is just a few steps from the Salt Lake City KOA. The food was very authentic and fresh. We had the Monday special for lunch with two tacos that also included rice, beans and a drink for $9.99. Chips and salsa are also included and they were very much above par. If a Nico’s were near where we live, I would be a frequent customer!
They also have breakfast, but they don’t open until 10:00. Trying to think if this would fit with our travel plans.
Was staying at the KOA next door and ate lunch here. Where I live there are a lot of Mexican restaurants and this beats them all. Its a small hole in the wall but the food is good and comes as big portions. The steak taco had tender steak and was very good. The chimichanga was good if not fried enough. Would definitely return
In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in SLC especially for the prices. Much better food than the Red Iguana even if the prices were the same. The service was also excellent, and the server was extremely kind. Well deserved 5 stars.
When saw on the news that this place was about to close, I didn’t get a chance to go until recently. Food was good, it got busy and unfortunately the guy was running the front on his own and wasn’t able to check on his tables and it was understandable. I recommend to try it and taste this homemade food place.
Nicos is an awesome family restaurant! They have delicious food and great customer service! I ordered my food and got my bag! I went home and realized that I had not received all my food! I came back to the restaurant and told them I didn’t get my food! They were very kind and quickly made it up and even gave me extra food! The portions are generous and the food is delicious! Be careful with the chipotle hot sauce! It is spicy yet flavorful!
First time at Nico's and let me tell you, we were very impressed. The staff were very friendly and tentive. We received some chips and salsa while we waited for the main courses and we were no disappointed at all.
