So happy Cucina was recommended to me. Loved the location, frozen Sangrias and small plates, and the owner and server were incredibly friendly. Did I mention the sugar cookie I bought to take back to my room? Divine! Going back in August!
Really fun lunch spot deep in the Avenues. Adorable patio and dining room with a unique modern vibe. Everything is so clean! Food is deli style which made me unsure about the quality, but it was really good food! The curry chicken salad is delightful and the coconut salmon is to die for!
We were fortunate to visit for a chef's tasting menu event. It was fantastic! Loved each course so much that I neglected to take a picture of each one. The wine pairings were spot on and delicious. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend this fine establishment.

Had a lovely experience at Cucina last night with a bunch of my friends! When I saw that Cucina had released a limited-time only Budget Tasting Menu, I immediately started asking my friends who would like to join me to try it out.
I ended up having 10 friends saying they’d like to join me. I was shocked. The reservation was made over the phone with ease and the afternoon before the evening we arrived, Cucina called me just to double check the size of my party. I appreciated that they were so on top of it.
When we arrived to Cucina, we were quickly greeted and served by Eddie. Eddie took care of my friends and I the entire night. He recommended this amazing red wine, Dunham Trutina. He made us laugh, he was so kind, and even graciously split up our bill between our group even though he was so busy that night. He was such a gem.
The food was incredible. I loved it all. My favorite by far was the beautiful and flavorful Sesame Ahi Tataki. Chef Joey - I’m in awe of you and your food. Please, please, please do this Budget Tasting Menu again!
I’d highly recommend you go to Cucina, you will be so glad you did, and I hope you’re lucky enough to get Eddie as your server!

Found this place on a whim. Went with my gut… and wasn’t disappointed. This place is a nice hole in the wall spot near the university. I really enjoyed the ambiance and low key of this place.
The food was really good. The breakfast sandwhich was declious with soft bread. Also enjoyed the caprese salad. My wife got the Curry Chicken Salad with a side of the Corn Salad. Both, flavor ful and delicious. My daughter was satisfied with her fruit bowl and roll. The reason we give this place a 4 instead of a 5 is the dry danish and rolls.
The staff was accommodating and nice. Don’t have any complaints about the service.
This place is on a quiet residential road. We stopped for a sandwich and a glass of wine mid-afternoon. The staff were very friendly and let us pick a seat outside. You order at the till. We went for a tomato and soft cheese sandwich and a glass of white wine. Both really really good. They had low level music outside in the seating area which made for a good ambiance. We could have stayed all day! Thanks very much

This restaurant has very affordable sandwich and salad options for lunch ($10-$13). It has a water station and self service cutlery. The grilled veggies and Portobello mushroom salad was delicious. Relaxed ambience with plenty of natural light, comfortable seating and beautiful decor. They also have outdoor seating options. I will be coming back!
We went for an early lunch. It was more of a deli-style counter service place at that point. Soup, beef salad and coffee were all good. Lettuce mix was kind-of boring for the quality of the rest of the dish. Bathroom needs better ventilation. Dinner menu and when there is table service looked like it would be a good experience. Person who helped us was very friendly. Lots of newspapers around people were reading/leaving around.
I can't say enough about how great the service is here. They are very accommodating & have excellent wine recommendations. The crab cakes are some of the best in the whole city.
This place is a gem! It's the perfect size for both intimate or group meals with attentive and knowledgeable staff, who makes you feel very welcome. Our server was excellent, and recommended one of the best wines that I've tried in years. The food is creative and absolutely beautiful. I was especially taken with the mole rojo and blood orange mojo that took the roasted romanesco broccoli to the next level. All of the entrees were delicious and we only regret that we only had room to share a dessert. I suggest to bring friends and do sharing plates (many!) to try every flavor nuance.
Exceptional service! I wanted to love the food because the atmosphere was peaceful and lovely. The bruschetta, parpadelle, salad, and the mushroom dish tasted primarily salty.
