This is the single most amazing pizzeria in Salt Lake! The food is magnificent and the service is personal and friendly! I would certainly recommend it to anyone seeking a place for lunch or dinner or just mid afternoon munchies. You get an incredible amount of top quality food without paying top dollar. I went there by myself on my day trip to Salt Lake and loved every second of my time there! The local Hefeweizen on draft was great too!
The star of this restaurant are the calzones. My favorite is the buffalo chicken as it has thinly sliced chicken and peppers and just the perfect amount of buffalo sauce. But you can’t go wrong with the other flavors as well. The pizza is great too. The servers are very attentive and the main cook in the back is friendly and always makes sure everything is cooked to perfection otherwise he’s always happy to make it right. Not much dining space so try to beat the lunch rush.
Great pizza. Cracker crust, fine cornmeal dusting on the bottom, no flop. Slightly raised cornicione. Overnight dough probably baked at 500 df or so. Owners are very friendly and take pride in their product. Great atmosphere.
It’s good but very small and expensive. Been wanting to try this place for quite a while and happy that we did. got a large pizza and a salad and water came to $50 bucks. The pizza was really good crust is light almost like a saltine. The place is super small and parking is curbside on state and 21st so good luck with that. We sat at the bar. This place may be good for parties of 2 or 4 and it’s not busy. Takeout is a good option if you have more. the service was really good. will go back next time I’m around and in the mood for pizza.
Legit NY pizza. Very good! Really enjoyed when i got the crust crispy like when they reheat a slice in NY in the pizza oven. Took mine home and baked it. Great pepperoni. I added garlic at home, they will add it for you. Prices in menu pictures do not reflect current prices. Call restaurant and ask
Best calzone I’ve ever had! The crust was perfection! It had a tasted freshly homemade from scratch taste- crispy, airy and melt in your mouth qualities! The sauces and toppings had the same fresh homemade taste! I just finished my leftovers and I’m not sure how long I can wait before we go back!
Cute spot for pizza or a calzone. This place is very family friendly and the staff are kind and quick to get your order going. I went with the Caprese calzone. I’m not sure what mozzarella they use but wow, it was so good.

We decided to visit Rusted today, great decision. We came for lunch, the place was full, but we were greeted as soon we came in and they let us know that they were cleaning a table to dine in.
We ordered the killer cheese deep as appetizer, wonderful deep cheese, the hubby has the combo pizza and for me the pesto calzone. All food was delicious, the dough on the pizza and calzone really well done. If we could rate 10, we would.

This place is hands down top on my choices for good old handmade pizza. Rivals the places I've eaten in New York and Chicago. Their ingredients are fresh, meticulously crafted together and the result is amazing. Their buffalo chicken pizza is just out of this world.
Im bookmarking this as a hidden gem in my visits throughout the USA. Trust me this pizza is supreme in my scale of taste. The service is great, the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Very genuine customer service! Visit them you will not be disappointed!
You won't find a better Pizza Joint in Utah for sure. I'm even wondering if you'll find anything as good as rusted son anywhere else in the world. Going early make sure you say hi to Wally he's freaking awesome. But so is everybody else that's part of the Russian son family trust me you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is a custom calzone I somehow created years ago. Pepperoni sausage mushroom onion and alfredo sauce instead of marinara make sure to load up on extra parmesan and if you have time sit down have a drink kick it with family and friends and see for yourself why rusted son is the best.
