Sometimes things start out small and stay that way and people appreciate it for what it is. Salem could have the potential to bring in big name bands every night. If the space concert never goes away it will be my favorite stepping stone for a more involved music scene for Salem. They are pumping love into our culture on the daily. You dont even have to check the line up. If you love music and you love good food give the space concert club a visit on any week of the night and I guarantee you wont be disappointed. And the sound is amazing!!

Finally, a Venue in Salem, Oregon that is true to the concept! This little #hideaway always seems to have amazing music and some fun #vegan food stuff. Food was beautiful and delicious, and the waiter/bartender very friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced as well. It was nice to walk into a restaurant for brunch on a Saturday and not have to wait. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the waffles, while very tasty, were room temp, and served with cold syrup. Warming the plate or the syrup would have helped with that. We (two adults) split the Smother Plate and Small Waffles and the only thing we didn't like was the "cheeze" sauce (it had a strange flavor I couldn't quite identify). Everything else was great. We will definitely be coming back to try more menu items.
Oh my the french fries are great! Their queso is excellent. The chili burger is messy and so freaking fantastic. My man is in love with the big fluffy buns they use, and the fact they grill their onions. This is a fantastic place for Salem! It is awesome to have a hip vegan place to eat at when visiting family here!
A neat little spot with vegan-friendly food and a happy hour menu featuring food and drinks at discount prices! Be sure to greet and be gentle with the adorable cat outside the door!! The chili queso burrito wasn’t any good - and there wasn’t any guacamole in it. But I’m eager to try other dinner and brunch items. The bartender was very friendly and patient and the food was served extraordinarily quickly. Amazing prices on vegan food especially considering how high priced vegan food is elsewhere in the state and in the country in general!
Great food, whether you're vegan or not. A fun atmosphere, great staff and I love having so many gluten free options! I haven't had a corn dog in so long and this one was amazing!! Definitely check out The Space!!!

When we arrived at the Space I was a little surprised by the entrance and set up of the bar/restaurant. It's a pretty cool spot. The bartender let us know that there was a yoga class going on and that we were welcome to eat inside quietly or seat ourselves outside. I thought the yoga class was pretty cool. We chose to eat outside.
Not being vegan myself the wasn't a lot of options for me. My children all 3 ordered something different. I tasted all of their dishes. My daughter's breakfast burger was good and I loved the crispness of the fries. The ranch was good as well. The other 2 dishes I wasn't very fond of. Like I said though, I'm not vegan. I was hoping for vegetarian items as well but there was not. If you are vegan it's totally worth the trip to this unique spot. The atmosphere is cool and I look forward to checking out classes and live music.
Good service, great food, fun menu, and a regular schedule of evening entertainment. I was impressed that no animals were sacrificed in the ingredients of the meal. A must place to visit in Salem!
