I went to. Lee's this evening for a 5 pc wing dinner with 2 sides for takeout. It was about 5:45pm, the place was unusually busy, both drive thru & inside the restaurant. The young lady at the counter- don't know her name but I've had her ring me out several times during my visits there, she's tall, light complexion young black lady who's ALWAYS courteous and patient even when she's overwhelmed with customers, as she was tonite. And she ALWAYS checks EVERY customer's order to be sure they get everything they paid for!!! Always makes your visit pleasant.😊
Had the chicken fried steak again. This time I had the Cajun rice and the Mac+cheese. The rice is a nice change of pace for a side item. The lunch special pricing is worth the cost.
Not only is the food great, the value this place offers is amazing. 3pcs of chicken, 2 sides, a biscuit, drink, and 2 apple turn overs for $15?! Common now, where else can you get 9 things at that price? Great job Lee's!
Efficient and personable counter service, clean, and the food was hot and consistent with their standards.
The lunch staff was very friendly and helpful. I got the individual shrimp meal. 8 shrimp and 2 sides with a biscuit. The shrimp was fresh, it is the usual panko breaded butterfly shrimp, biscuit was warm and soft, green beans are seasoned with meat and onions, but the mac and cheese is horrible and should have never become an option. Threw my meal off a bit.
Food is always consistent and fresh. Martha the Manager is almost always there and her staff provides fast and friendly service!!
Holy hell this place was great. Had a big order and they had it ready before I could get my debit card back in my wallet. Got the food home…AMAZING! Everything pipping hot and delicious! Lee’s in St. Louis is doing it right. I also go to the Lee’s in U-city and it’s pretty amazing as well. You can tell this franchisee is doing things right!

Always Great Service when I'm there!!!! Food always taste great!!!! And the restaurant is always clean... The reason I'm giving this location a 3 stars is, because I've been there to many times to get whole chicken wings and the chicken wings that I get are way to "SMALL"!!!! Today I order a 5 piece wings snack box, comes with a biscuit... I paid $7.37 for pigeon wings size!!!!

The wings were a little bigger.. I order a 5 piece chicken wing dinner and got 6 pieces.. 👍
On the same day.. I took my freshly washed n empty 30oz tumbler to Lee's Chicken with me. When I placed my food n drink order I asked the lady at the register to "go ahead and put my ice tea in my tumbler".. She stated to me that "she couldn't actually take my tumbler to fill it because it's a health code violation"... I said, "I understand"... Then she handed me my 32 oz paper cup filled with tea.. When I received my drink from her I said, "so when I'm needing a refill on my drink you'll be giving me another new cup"??? She said, "no, you'll use the first cup I gave you on your refills".... 🤔
Then 10 minutes later I went back up to the food counter with my first empty cup and asked for another refill.. The same girl took it from me and refilled the cup with ice OVER her ice bin...
That's is one of my biggest PET PEEVE, a sever or a bartender refilling your same glass with ice over their open ice bin... 😡
I did change from 3 stars to 4 stars because the restaurant was very clean and the staff are very friendly and quick.. Also watched the 2 girls working the front counter keeping busy with wash rags wiping their work area down... And was satisfied with the size of my wings...
The service was great and it’s one of my favorite places to eat
Love the spicy jumbo wingetts! The lady working the drive thru was extremely pleasant, fast, professional, and was handling several tasks at the same time!
