The food was great and the customer service was on par. If you can't figure out what you want ask your waiter for suggestions because they have some great picks. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic margaritas which by the way are delicious. Highly recommend and will go back again.
Excellent tacos, nachos and other Mexican street food. Try the Mexican street corn. And get the "dip trip" for a fantastic sampler of salsa, queso and guacamole 🥑. Happy hour has some great drink discounts.
I came here with family to try their food for a a second time and I was very satisfied. The food was hot, tasted great, and it was overall a pleasant experience. My waiter and host were great. The south beach burrito is amazing.
Came in tonight with a group of friends, David was our server and he was very helpful and nice! I had a fish taco, a carne asada taco, three little piggies and street corn and it was all very delicious! All of my friends really enjoyed their food and we had a great time!

I stopped in to grab a quick bite while checking out the Del Mar loop. A few friends from the area recommended trying Mission Taco Joint while I was in town. I sat at the bar and ordered 2 tacos, salad, and fries. Service was friendly and prompt. The servers and bar staff worked cohesively to take care of everyone and they seemed to have a good time doing it. The energy was good, the food tasted great, and it was super cheap. My tab was under $20 before tip and it was a ton of food. The food quality was good also. Would definitely recommend.
First off, I'm a vegetarian & they had amazing veggie options!! I was so happy!! The food was amazing & the service was great. The wait staff was so nice & I wanted to give our service provider a giant hug.
I will say one negative.....the bathrooms were pretty gross. Seemed like they hadn't had a really good cleaning in a bit.
1st time eating here. Service was a bit slow. Food came out quickly. Carne asada fries and the Tacos were delicious!! The street corn wasn’t so good. It was bland and cold.
Sat outside with fast, friendly service. Good size, tasty tacos for the price. Delicious guacamole served with a lot of tortilla chips. If you are in a hurry plan to go before the lunch crowd hits to get fast service.
Okay, so Mission Taco Joint was a fun place to go after a long morning because you get to choose from different *tasty* tacos and not just a plain, old taco either! The waitress was so helpful when it came to our orders and was quick to fix any mistakes that happened when our food came out. Plus, the rice, queso, chips, and drinks were a bonus!
