The most delicious baked goods from a truly friendly staff at a local, family-owned coffee place. What's not to love? Can't say enough nice things about this place!
Great place for a Dark Roast Pour over coffee.. and pastries..always something new and interesting to try
Love supporting local. Fun place to visit, they have fun seating options, games available and patio if desired. Bagels, seasonal drinks and tasty savory treats are appreciated.
For my very first time I was a bit thrown off when going from a side door towards the register only to realize I was standing behind another couple who were kindly trying to figure out how we were all supposed to be in line that was quickly getting long towards the front entrance. That’s an understandable mistake for the first timers. Once at the register I slightly felt rushed because there was so much to take in( thanks for patience to all behind ). I got a tasty black tea and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant.
I’ll have to come back to try more goodies.
I’ve been going to barrios for about a year now and I’ll say its definitely worth a try. It’s very hit or miss. Some days they serve delicious coffees and breakfast treats, and some days they just don’t. Recently I went with my friends and we got food and drinks, it was amazing! Carmelita with oat milk is my go too, it’s creamy and sweet.
Catch them on a good day and you won’t be sorry! Definitely worth a visit (or two)
I love this place. We ride our bikes here and have a relaxing bite or drink. Today mixing in a little reading and playing a game. The avocado toast is as yummy as it is beautiful! The people are lovely.
First time visiting, it was nice. The pastries were good and so was the young lady behind the counter. Will definitely go back
Local coffee shop that makes some of their own pastries and has a kitchen for other orders. Also offers beer and wine with some limited out door seating in front. Basically a mom and pop type shop with fairly decent cappuccino.
Ordered some of their Bacon & Spinach Quiche, a Jefa’s Cookie and a Raspberry Toaster Strudel… I was not disappointed.
Great atmosphere, friendly baristas and workers.
Excellent cafe for all kinds of coffee and tea drinks, light lunch and baked goods. I especially like it because it is locally owned and items are baked in house. Currently they have a woven art exhibit by a local female weaver on the inside walls. I and my friend each bought a woven art piece, reasonably priced and gorgeous to look at. I placed mine on my art wall in my living room. The mochas were less than $ 4 a piece. We drank them in an attractive outdoor setting. The woven art piece was $25 total. Quite a nice day in the Pocket nrighborhood!
It's a little out of the way for us, but it's very worth it. The empanadas are amazing, and of all the chai I have tried in the Sacramento area, this is my second favorite; and I have tried a lot of places. Give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed.
This is my new morning coffee spot, I love it. Yummy fresh made pastries, empanadas, croissants and huge coffee and tea drink selection. They have cubano sandwiches and do beer and wine which makes it a great lunch spot. You're really missing out if you don't stop to check this place out.
Love the name very cool lots of art nice place to enjoy a coffee lots of pastries and dessert options also pizza coming soon
