I took my wife and kids and wanted to try this new place out. If you are a Middle Eastern food and Mediterranean diet lover like myself, you know it's hard to find that many restaurants that offer that in the Sacramento area.
The owner warmly welcomed us, arranged a special seating for my family and made us feel at home.
We ordered lamb and chicken shawarma wraps, kibbeh, hummus, tabooleh and the super famous kunefah!!
The wraps were mouthwatering!!
Slightly zesty with thin slices of crispy pickles that add a magical flavor to the grilled meat. The best wrap I have had for a long time.
The kebbeh was awesome too.
Then came the kunefah... it was actually made fresh when I ordered it (never seen that in any Middle Eastern restaurant in America!). It's a huge one, enough for 2-4 people, depending on how much you like Kunefah. Immediately after I took my few first bites, I requested another one... OMG, it is so good. Really, never tasted such good Kunefah in a long long time.
The shawarma wraps and the kunefah were the flagships of this place, hands down.
I would recommend them to anyone.
I heard that they also make Musakhan as a special dish, I can't wait to try that out. My friend can't stop talking about it.

The best Shawarma and Kenafa in all northern California and i have tried plenty places. The services is superb.They have many food variety that will satisfy your hunger. I recommend this place 100%.Give it a try and you will not regret , i promise :)

If i could give them 1000000 stars would. Came here from stockton with my best friend and i ordered the chicken shwarma plate and she order a chicken shwarma bowl and we also got a cheese knafeh. Everything was amazing! Incredibly delicious, full of flavor and most definitely worth the drive. This sweet man Rahid (not sure if that's his name), please correct me if it isnt, was so sweet and great customer service. Most definitely will be back. That knafeh was an out of body experience.

Got the Lamb Shawarma. Was nicely toasted and cut in half. The meat was plentiful and juicy. I asked for extra spicy. With the Tahini sauce every bite was heavenly. Raed, the owner gave me some Baklava to try. Honestly, this was the best Baklava I’ve had in ages. Filled with pistachios instead of walnuts. Yumm. Don’t miss this place if you are close to H street in Sacramento. 5 stars for sure.

Delicious food and very nice owner! We ordered a variety of items from the menu and everything exceeded my expectations. The food is authentically made and with love. I highly recommend trying the hummus with whatever you order.
The food was good. I have only had a shawarma wrap one other time, and although the one from this restaurant was good, it wasn't as good as the first one I tried. And honestly, I have no idea exactly how authentic shawarma should taste. Again, the food was very good, but I enjoyed the Shawarma wrap I had elsewhere better. There were lots of other things on the menu that I would like to try! I would definitely return to this restaurant to try other foods. The service was quick and the staff was friendly.
This is an aunthentic middle eastern shawarma restaurant. Those who worked in the middle east will surely recognize the taste. I spoke with the owner and he is really nice guy. He shared he also stayed in UAE for a little bit. The beef here are real and sliced from rotating beef meat just like in the middle east and the bread is thin and crisp! Really good. I hope they soon sell smoothies just like in UAE. Yum! Afwan guys! Maasalam!!
Never had chicken shawarma that was up to the par that planet’s was. If they had more stores especially in Elk Grove I for surely think they’d be way more popular than they alr are. Most underrated place for food guaranteed.

This is by far the most delicious food I have tasted within the Mediterranean food category. I stumbled by this restaurant after having to go to Sacramento for business all the way from Tracy and after a long meeting I wanted something fresh and not too oily. I googled up Mediterranean food near me and this place popped up among the long list of rated restaurants so I figured why not. I went ahead and followed Google maps and almost missed this place because it looks like it's part of the Asian foods market (looked like it was inside of the store). Their restaurant logo is simple and so easy to pass by but I was so hungry that I parked and noticed the pictures on their windows and recognized the food immediately. I went in and it was so quiet and empty that I got scared and assumed it was bad but I figured I drove all the way here so I ordered the shawarma bowl and some baklava. I had almost finished ordering UNTIL I saw that they had KNAFEH ON THEIR MENU!!!! Trader Joe's carries knafeh from Greece and I have waited so patiently to try Palestinian knafeh and I eagerly put in an order for two. I was NOT disappointed!!!! For those that do not know if you go to market's some of the ingredients are hard to find to make at home and even then everyone makes them different so as a non-middle eastern I was beyond excited. From the beginning upon entry and after the transaction was complete the young ladies and young man were extremely kind, friendly and attentive. I had forgotten to bring my prescription lenses and while I was having a hard time reading the menu they were considerate and smiled at me and let me step aside for another client to pick up their ordered item. They were kind enough to explain what each dish was and once I ordered they were friendly and politely answered questions that I had about their food, music, culture background etc. If it was not for the distance I would come here weekly because the food tastes so fresh and really homely especially the knafeh! I fought the urge to eat one entire knafeh on my way home but I did dig into it and I was shocked that it was not overly sweet like the ones sold in the stores. The rice was flavored just right and not oily whatsoever and the chicken was tender and moist like it ideally should be. If you're looking for a legitimate place for middle eastern food that's homely, similar to afghan food and with extraordinary customer service this is the place to visit. Their food tastes like it's home-cooked and the attendants make you feel all homely and the food portions are also a plus! I submitted pictures of the knafeh with its beautiful orange color and pistachios and the chicken shawarma bowl with rice,Tahiti sauce, hummus, cucumber tomato and feta cheese salad and fries. I honestly don't even know why I ordered the fries but I did and they were lightly salted which was good and not greasy.
