Lacks a little in the atmosphere area with decor. Split seating with men’s and women’s restrooms on opposite sides of the restaurant. The staff and the food was amazing!!! The wife and I did the grits, chicken and waffle. The chicken was cooked perfectly and skin was wonderful. (I usually do not eat the skin)

So it seems from the reviews like this place is hit or miss. I was on my way to the airport to catch a flight home and wanted to give this place a try.
I walked in around 3 pm, and there was just a couple at a table and no staff to be seen. In less than 30 seconds a charming young lady came out and told me to sit anywhere. She promptly brought me a menu and water and took my order. As a first-timer, I asked her for suggestions and settled on Tina's sweet and savory chicken and waffles.
The maple syrup was hot, the waffle was good, the chicken great, the beef bacon fantastic, but I asked for an over medium egg, and it was closer to over hard. Not a big deal.
I ended up having a 10 minute conversation with the waitress at the end of my meal, as she asked me about my work and said she was in college studying in a similar field.
It sounds like some staff needs some training, but this young lady was one of the most attentive and pleasant waitresses I've ever met. I'm glad I went and will be back if I'm in Sacramento again.
If your reading this, just get in the car and go here. Food is great, staff was friendly and took care of us. Atmosphere is great, and good music. I had the waffle with chicken strips it was perfect and the chicken is organic too. Will definitely be back.

This place is very clean and organized. The staff is very helpful and polite. And the best was, as confirmed by the staff, all the items on the menu are Halal. I came here with my buddies and had a brunch for about an hour. It was reasonably priced and the oxtail dish that they serve is just phenomenal, the spiciness of the food was just perfect
Delicious food, excellent service in a peaceful environment. And my lady loved it and she never loves anything I eat. I will definitely be going back
This is one of my favorite places, especially during Ramadan... The owner is very nice and the employees are very friendly and professional. There are not too many places where you can eat breakfast and not have to worry about non pork options. It's totally Halal Mash'Allah.... There are so many great memories here, and my kids love it
On my goodness!!! The food is so yummy!!! I didn’t feel like cooking so l came here. I really tried to eat all my food, but there was no more room in my belly😂😂😂. It tasted as good as mine. Grits were cooked to perfectly, everything including service was great!!!
The food was yummy and the service was nice BUT there was a bug (I was told by a family member it was a cricket) scurrying around on the ground and got suspiciously close to the kitchen doors, possibly under them because I lost sight of it. I’m shy so I didn’t want to mention it to the waitress but yeah
I love this spot for breakfast! Got the meat sampler plate and I am a huge fan of the Beef Bacon. The chicken fried chicken was also superb. Everything was fresh and hot, and service was on point. The fried Chicken was HANDMADE, not something that is shipped in a cardboard box. Highly recommended!
Always good service. AND good food. I was told the Steak and eggs and you get a waffle too! Was 👍. I had the chicken and grits bowl. Oh. Em.gee the fritz were creamy and perfect cheese was melted on top! Crispy chicken pieces on top lightly seasoned with maple and an egg... to die for! I had to work on self control!
